  1. Great guy! May have convinced me to try IPSC
  2. My son and I will be there as well. Not shooting, just volunteering our help with the event. Should be a great day and the shoot sold out which is great news. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
  3. BTW...if you need a jumper you can borrow mine. I'm close by...as you know.
  4. You can try jump starting the ride on as I think they are mostly 12 volt systems. I jumped my Deere half of last season with one of those portable battery packs
  5. If you really just want to shoot for fun and do not care about your scores, get whatever shotgun config you want. Serious shooting requires specialized guns. As for what a gun is worth, again that is a long conversation. In short, if you are going to keep it for life and you like it sure it's worth it. If you are going to shoot 1000rds and sell it probably not.
  6. Great guy, good communication...gun was as described, perfect.
  7. I love Shrimp Scopalimine over pasta...
  8. The seller has to ship to a valid FFL of your choice. You then deal with the local FFL. You bring him the pistol permit and he will forward to proper agency. HTH.
  9. Don't start shooting clays. It's evil and rapidly drains what's left of your shooting funds.
  10. FYI...There is a charity shoot for Wounded Warriors coming up. It is April 15th, in Green Village(Chatham Twp), NJ. The entry fee is $100 which includes 100 targets, breakfast, pig roast lunch, prizes/trophies. I have no idea how to post the Information and Registration form but I can email it to anyone interested. Just PM me your email addy.
  11. What caliber, how old, round count? Thanks.
  12. Here's my quandry...I just bought a gun off a member here, and just got three more permits. BUT...because of OGAM I can't pickup guns I bought for 1, 2, and 3 mos! So ridiculous.
  13. IMO...Duck is to Chicken, as Lamb is to Beef. It's got a twang, but it's a good twang. You can also add sauces to adjust to your liking. Even the best duck is usually served with an Orange sauce of some kind or another. I like to rotis a duck on my grill over a pan of beer/butter/spices. Comes out yummy.
  14. Why has a semi-auto not been brought up? If you are going to shoot a bunch, why not save your poor shoulder from undue pain and suffering? They are more expensive then a pump but ...it's a gun. As long as you take decent care of it it it will hold it's value and you can sell it for what you paid for it if used, and not much less for a new gun. Of course, Perazzi doesn't make semi-auto's so you can't have the most awesome clays gun ever made
  15. Just weld 1/2" pegs on...the clays will hang from them.
  16. I can't friggin believe I got to page 6 without seeing: Miller's Tavern in Annandale...best thin crust pizza hands down. Kirsten's in Lebanon for "fancy" pizza.
  17. Welcome. Do you live at Thunder Mountain...I would
  18. Nah, they were only used through two world wars, Korea and Viet Nam - no mud draggin' there. LOL...I was in fetal position waiting for the incoming of this...
