Thanks for the offer. But I'm never around on a Monday or even during the day because of work. I have a handgun with a dot already so not new to them. Just not a funny oddball glock 19 with a super long slide and comp and dot that I'll shoot at 50 yards.

Nevermind answered in a different thread. Thanks

Ok cool. I was just curious on it. I also think I want to add a comp but it's a range fun gun and think I want to do a 17 or 34 on a 19 frame. That's true I'm going the rmr route on it as well. But idk why not make it obnoxiously long.

Thanks will do. Any experience with brownells slides? Are they any good?
-
Bully just curious here did you look into doing a 34 slide or 17 slide on a 19 frame? I know you need a lone wolf conversion barrel and spacer and a new guide rod. But if it's for gun games why not? If not anyone else do this before? I'm thinking of going that route on a build because I have so many 19 mags already but want a longer slide i think unless it isn't reliable then I'll scratch that idea. Any info is appreciated.

I looked at one at one of the mm dealers. Looks like a nice rifle and they said everyone seems to love them that buys them. It's a 9mm so recoil is very little. I have other 9mm ar's and they are a ton of fun. I am either going to get that or the Wilson. They both are ar controls and glock mags which is awesome. I'm just unsure if for the price it's worth it just to upgrade further to a Wilson 9mm ar or is this really that high of quality.

Anyone use them in gen 4 glocks?
-
I see the 9mm is coming soon. Is it going to have a last round bolt hold open? How soon till these are available?

Would be nice to get a regular meetup going in north jersey. -
The long barrel doesnt look the best sure. But for mp5 variants in nj theres minimal choices. I think I'm going to get one just for a range fun gun.

Thank you

Just curious has nics caught back up or still delays?
-
It's the same gun as the 608 but comes with ets 10 rd plastic mags. The 608 is legal just has 30 rd mags that would need to be pinned and is in stock when the nj model is not in stock anywhere.
-
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has anyone gotten a ptr mp5 rifle by now? It's the ptr 608 model and is nj legal out of the box.

Is it a gunk or just light brown streaks that brush off? I had light brown streaks almost like a powder on them. It was rust in the washer in a spot of the tub that the porcelain coating chipped off. Got a little porcelain filler and painted a few coats on and all good.

It's a good price. Can find them several places I'm the $380's. Thanks though

NICS & Transfer fees for multiple firearms

I have no problem with you bringing the issues up. Like I said I want the place to succeed as its soo close to me. I just dont see it lasting. It's mostly customer service issues imo. The sweeping brass right into the pit as you shoot is annoying. And when your waiting and 5 or 6 employees are standing talking for a few minutes and then start to help you after you waited a for 5 minutes is quite annoying. And its probably something management or owners dont even know. But it's happened to me on 2 of my 3 trips there. And like I said maks I pass there multiple nights a week and have shot on multiple weeknights and on a Sunday afternoon there. 1 of the weeknights there was 1 other lane occupied at around 7:30-8pm. The other time just 3 lanes occupied. On a Sunday afternoon there were maybe 7 lanes occupied. I hope it's enough but I dont see it being enough volume to last. If theres anything I can do to help them improve I'd be willing to. -

Figured them. I'm 5 min away also and I have shot there and it's a bit expensive but convenient for the range. I wondered why it was always empty as I pass the place a few nights a week. It's a bit pricey and it's annoying you need to buy a $10 membership card just to shoot there. Annoying also how multiple employees will be at the counter and you wait for 1 to set you up with range time as they help someone else and the other employees stand there talking. They also sweep your brass into a pit as you shoot and its lost. I hope they make some customer service improvements there as it's so close and would like the place to stick around. But I just dont see the place lasting very long to be honest. -

Can we get a who so others know the rates? -
Not quite the same but if you pin the stock and put on a brake I think this would be nj legal. https://grabagun.com/kusa-kr9-9mm-30rd-16-25-blk-fld.html

Did the online system Monday. 1 of my references says he keeps getting an error when trying to submit the reference sheet. Tried calling state police today and need to wait for a supervisor that might know more about it bc nobody knew why it might not work... of course just when I thought this might make it easier.

Has anyone used one of these? How does it compare to the psa cheap line? I know their not great but for a cheap plinker it might do

I believe a dealer cannot sell mags over 10 rounds anymore. However a private sale i think you still can. Unless someone has proof im wrong here.
