  1. I just PMed a member who has one to see if he could tell me the model number but intercooler's got it. I was doubting it would be stamped that, I don't think Molot would do that.
  2. In regards to your original post, it would be legal as long as you pin a muzzle brake or nut onto the barrel.
  3. K-var only ships compliant rifles to NJ. I am currently trying to speak to one of their supervisors about it. I left a message today for him to call me. Atlantic has had two batches of them. They go quick. I'd highly suggest one of these, they are tanks and Molly's quality is outstanding.
  4. For throwing slugs 50yds, ghost rings are nice but I'm all about that nice simple bead up there whether it's home defense or clays.
  5. If you can find a good ffl, they will discount transfers after 2 firearms. I usually try and buy 2+ since my ffl charges $25 for the first, then $20 second, and $10 for all after that.
  6. I'm 99.9% sure it will be threaded on. It was most likely tac welded if it was done during import.
  7. I disagree. Shaving the ears off a bayonet lug renders the bayonet lug useless in which it is no longer a bayonet lug.
  8. Yeah, it's usually after Halloween. Maybe we can do first weekend of November? That way Lowslow can grab all the extra pumpkins and I usually go to a local farm and strike a deal since they're out of season then.
  9. Atlantic and most other companies will ship it here. It falls too much in the grey area for me as NJSP has stated in the past that a thumbhole stock is a PG.
  10. I'm no longer a premier member for whatever reason. Couldn't post in the marketplace either randomly. No one figured it out and no one has figured it out presently.
  11. Funny story. But in all seriousness, walking around the house pretending to be a SWAT guy is an easy way to give bad guys the advantage.
  12. Finishing wood is easy in general but takes some finesse and time to do it right. Plenty of different oils and waxes and finishes to use and experiment with. There are plenty of threads on other forums that explain it thoroughly, a quick Google search is also it takes. I enjoy woodworking so it was fairly simple once I started refinishing stock sets but just take your time is the most important part. Don't rush it. Let coats fully dry and sand with very fine steel wool between coats. It's amazing what you can do. I'd highly suggest refinishing your own stock set but a beat up Romy G set looks good on any AK.
  13. Lookin good! Looks to be a post 2014 production WASR. That's good as quality control has seemed to be much better with them. I absolutely love OD green furniture on that what looks to be Saiga. The black and green is such a cool combo. I plan on putting an OD green Arsenal set on my milled SL.
  14. That's a good story. Glad you picked one up. It's local and you had cash in hand and were able to inspect it, there's no reason you shouldn't have bought it! Post up some pictures already!
  15. Also, for $1300 I'd get an Arsenal Sam7 over anything else in that price range.
  16. So many better options than a WASR right now, especially for the money. A Vepr is right around WASR price ranges and is one of the best AK's you can buy. Conversion is easy and cheap. A Draco or m92 are still cheap and a conversion wouldn't be too much. Not sure you're price range but there are plenty of options. Atlantic's converted vepr is so outrageously priced IMO. $700 rifle, lhg retainer and slant cut stock adapterand a bullet guide is roughly $100. That leaves $500 for that wood furniture. You could do the conversion work yourself and with that $500 refinish a wood stock set yourself and spend $500 on two cases of ammo or a case and a half and 10 mags. Either way, you did good with a WASR. Most importantly it's an import. Buy em up while you can. I just think there are better options out there that's all. Enjoy and have fun with it!
  17. Nothing beats a modified g2. The ALG is nice though.
  18. Just sell privately. It's as easy as going to Dunkin donuts and buying a coffee. Plus you will help the buyer in getting a gun for a good price and you will get much more money than the pennies a gunshop will give you. Youd be crazy to throw money away like that.
  19. Last time I looked at a 9mm option it was close to 2 grand. Too much money for something that has to be compliant with tiny 15rders.
  20. Bcm upper, whatever lower, DD parts kit.
  21. If you don't want it, sell it. Make an ad for it, agree to a transaction when someone says they want it, then meet up and both parties fill out 2 seperate certificate of eligibility documents. You keep one, buyer keeps the other. It's that easy. If you want it, whether you shoot it or keep it in the safe, hold onto it.
  22. Threading the barrel will probably cost 50-100$ then the cost of whatever muzzle device you want. You can buy a kit and do it yourself as another option. Drilling out the pin in a stock is easy.
  23. I was going to say, just take the stock off if you're obsessed with a pistol.
  24. Check out the numerous threads on this on other forums and form your own opinion. I can't believe how much of a scumbag the owner of IO is. Instead of coming out and admitting they don't know how to build rifles, he just puts the blame on other things and denies it.
