All police officers get drug tested. I know I get a random piss test multiple times a year in addition to my annual medical screening. Steroid testing is completely different. It is a completely different test that is a lot more money. Some departments do it as part of their random screening. Plus the amount of people using is far less than those that might be using other illegal substances. To me it makes no difference I have nothing to hide.

Departments aren't going to pay for that. Steroid testing is expensive. The other problem is that there are a lot of supplements that are legal that could make you fail a steroid test. I know there was a big thing a few years back with a certain now deceased doctor and a lot of cops that recently made the paper again. I really dont think it is enough of an epidemic where departments will worry about it all that much.

I was planning on going this past Tuesday but I got sick. I have a new duty holster to get used to as well a new guns to shoot. Maybe next week.

I have used the LEO exception. Bought 3 handguns in 6 weeks recently.

I have a bought a lot of stuff from Caso's. The old man can be a bit cranky but he is a real nice guy. Both of his daughters are very friendly and helpful. I find their prices comparable to many other places. I asked them to price a gun for me but they couldnt get it. I found one and had it shipped to them. She didn't charge me a fee besides nics because she wasn't able to get it for me. For future transfers I will most likely use JetAgent because I had a real good experience with them recently and will support people I like. It's not all about price sometimes for me.

I have an XDm .45 3.8 compact that I just got. Still unfired. I really like the feel of it.

I keep my FID right behind my police ID and DL. All are with me at all times.

Great review. Love my new kahr minus one problem. I needs my mags to fall out rather than me having to pull them out out. Have you had any issues with the mag release.
