  1. Just NE of the Delaware Water Gap wind is howling, light snow, and about an inch om the ground. Route 80 is a mess, calls all over the place.
  2. Ditto. Hey, I have a pump that holds 10 plus 1, I call it "Hollywood".
  3. You are correct, pumps are not subject to assault shotgun limitations, semis are. They do need to have minimum 18" barrel and 26" overall .
  4. Picked up a couple of Milwaukee M12 heated jackets, so far they are working great. Already had M12 batteries for tools so it just made sense. No heat in sleeves, still wear an outer shell if outside but great for working in garage.
  5. Double Strike Capability. Another useless feature on a SA. TAP RACK BANG. or plan on dropping that mag and clearing the jam because no amount of useless trigger clicking is going to work.

Don't even think about leaving your guns to your significant other! "Give me $50, he told me he got it for like a $100".

Ah, but how many have more than one look alike? True competitors have more than one. Give the modularity of the magwell I would bet additional inserts are on the drawing board. Or I'll crank them out on the 3D printer. Tell Leprechaun Phil that in a few weeks.
  8. Four beeps means the code was entered incorrectly. If it beeps four times after entering the default code, then the store may have changed the code already. Was it on the floor? My local store changes the code to keep people out. The owner's manual in 'pdf' is under the "INFO" tab on the page you linked to.
  9. You need to see an eye doctor to determine what type you have, to what degree and how to correct it, possibly glasses or contacts. Astigmatism is an imperfection in the cornea, get it checked out and corrected
  10. There are plenty of people in 'Merica looking for a low end pistol and with a street price of around 3 bills they will sell a shit ton of them. Look out Kel Tec. When you can walk into a store and buy without extensive delays, paperwork, fingerprints, and permits, people tend to buy good reliable low end guns more often.

They did need something to get people to stop at their booth at Shot Show. How many times will I have to here it comes in 'coyote' with a matching color case. OK, OK, G19 slide on a G17 full size frame, with 17 or 19 round mags and cute new color. Ah, no! Plain and simple. Guess they had to find a way to recoup some of that R&D expense on the goberment failure.
  12. When did this start. I renewed this year, and had filed self certified years before. Nobody asked for med card when I renewed in person. OK, after a little Google-Fu seems a Cat 4 exemption is still valid in NJ. So no med card required.
  13. This list is current, my bad is I published all the organizations enrolled. You must meet their requirements for membership, an be a member, not just show up. You join a club meeting their membership requirements and participate in their CMP program whatever it is. Easton Fish and Game is a CMP member.

Unless Ruger's corporate attitudes has changed, look for a limited supply on the first issue that will sell out early then a long wait until the second batch is released. It's always been like that.
  15. If your talking about a club to meet the membership requirement commercial ranges are NOT members. You would have to join one of the not for profit clubs in NJ. Thrower Battery

I have two Atlas traps an AT-250 Wobble and an AT-200 (looks like the second picture but has the AT-250 motor in it). Most motors are almost the same in power ratings even those smaller units. Motor usage and ambient air temp effect battery status. My AT-250 will kill the battery if I push it hard for an extended period of time, like 3+ hours. Give it a break to let everything cool down and the battery comes back to life. When we go out to shoot easily rip through 3-4 cases of ammo for the day (3-4 guys). Stick to what I posted earlier you'll be fine. Golf cart batteries? The weight alone to me says NO! Get a good charger for deep cycle batteries. Makes them last longer. Even Sporting Clay courses change batteries two to three times a day on busy courses.
  18. Because it is voluntary, it would depend on dealer stock at the time of purchase. Your choice to buy or not. Easy to tell if it was done trigger is different.
  19. Just get a 1911, period. After market everything and hand reloading will make it the "softest shooter". Hand loaded 200SWC under 3.8 bullseye (YMMV) and a 13 or 14 lb spring will make it the softest shooting 45 ever. Ask a Bullseye shooter.
  20. There you go! You can only prepay the amount (usually near half) that was billed on your last tax bill ie. Q1 due 2/18 and Q2 due 5/18 https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-advisory-prepaid-real-property-taxes-may-be-deductible-in-2017-if-assessed-and-paid-in-2017

    Thrower Battery

Get an Interstate SRM-27 and a Noco Genius G3500 charger it will work fine. The wobble motor eats up a lot of juice and the thrower motor just compounds that even more. You'll need every bit of a 100AH plus driving that configuration for the day. You need a charger that can effectively charge deep cycle batteries.
  22. So your saying this is basically a "Brand new in box" gun? If so, you may want to keep it that way. If it is not, a few more rounds will not change anything. They are a joy to shoot. Your decision.
  23. And we shall see. Going to take some prodding to get it to the Senate floor, I'm afraid. You may not see any movement until after the 2018 mid-terms and then if only Republicans are successful in the elections. I'd say call your Senators, but that's useless. Maybe a R/T ticket to the DR.
  24. Never understood white bread, for me a real good Jewish rye bread, we'll send Ray Ray to Pechter's in Harrison to pick some up. Yes, Ray Ray you can join us! Temp at 260 may have been a touch to high run mine at 230 and pull at 193. Carryover goes another 5 plus. Looks D-lish. We had a bone in roast that we cut into rib eye steaks on the grill and a bunch went on to be seasoned to make into jerky on Tuesday. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
