Nice the only issue is one is a 92 g from WC (with WC serial #) and the other completely redone by WC including trimming and crowning the barrel. It’s an excuse to get a new toy and my wife believed it so I’m going with that.
  2. I need guns.... lots of them. Favorite line because I say that to my wife all the time.
  3. It took a few posts for this one to get interesting. It reminds me of a scene from clerks. Oh and to answer the question, even with lack of info, I’ve never been a fan of .308 ARs. I’ve had a few, they always seem like a good idea but not really. If you want an accurate AR that won’t punish you or is brutally heavy get a 6mm AR (if you reload) if not get a Grendel (plenty of factory ammo). I’ve sold both my .308 ARs but kept my scar 17 even though I don’t shoot it anymore.
  4. I have not purchased one but will—it’s next on the short list. The few I’ve seen appeared to have outstanding finish but I cannot does t build quality as I’ve only he;d one briefly.

May get a3 because of threaded barrel.
  6. Yeah the Samsung s10 hardware is awesome. I’d love to do a pixel but the screens suck in comparison but pixels have great cameras.
  7. Not a fan of the bloatware on the Samsung but the S10 screen is amazing and the phone is fast.
  8. It's public knowledge that Foxconn assemles iphones. If they don't run BBOS or Z10 I don't know if they are as secure.
  9. And why? I've been a long times iPhone user. One's of my guys handed me a galaxy S10 and said try it. The hardware is great, wifi and cell speeds improved and a screen that's off the hook. I don't like the text messaging app or voicemail on the android platform. Apps are the same love chrome. The screen is of the hook good. Why shouldn't I switch other I'm an old dog struggling with new tricks?

  11. I have a deposit in the Porsche Taycan right now. I’ve test driven Tesla cars and they are quite amazing. It’s very disturbing at first that there is n engine noise but a quick launch in ludicrous mode, 0-60 in 2.4, is hard described—it was actually uncomfortable. They have a 335 mile range at the top end an enormous network of chargers and will give an 80% charge in 30 mins. I’m not int EV for the environment, electricity doesn’t make itself, i’m more for the innovative tech. Batteries are really the limiting bit and need a major breakthrough. The other major issue is affordability. These damn things are pricey even with Tesla’s across the board price cut and delivery of the base model 3. These have to become more attainable if there’s an expectation that people not after an EV would consider them. However, if this Porsche drives like a true Porsche and the good qualities of EV then I’m sold.
  12. I don’t care about anything other than what I wagered. I bet the under and the patriots parlay online and am very happy. The proceeds will fund my undersized gun collection.
  13. Don't forget everyone go to the grocery store and buy all of the eggs and milk!
  14. I will buy one out of sentimentality, if it doesn’t look as bad as the photo. However, there is no chance that these can be like the originals unless they are going to costs thousands, in which case no one is buying. . I have one on order with 9mm kit (barrel cylinder).
  15. Manny at the bullet hole used to carry quite a bit at eh prices. Give them a call, don’t expect any dynamic conversation and see if they still do it. I bought tons of components from there over many years. If not sponsor a group buy from powder valley to reduce shipping and hazmat costs. In fact keep your eyes open sometimes they have sale with no hazmat charges—brownells occasionally too.
  16. I’m not an AR10 fan—I’ve had several very nice ones but they’re heavy, more expensive to build and at least two different formats DMPS (LR308, and Armalite (AR10). The rifles I’ve assembled were all LR308. They were quite nice and very accurate but they were heavy and had much more punishing recoil than anything in AR15. The Creedmor is a nice round but I’d still build an AR15 in 6.5 Grendel over any AR10 at this point. Here’s a good article comparing the .308 to 6.5 G and it pretty well summarizes why I’ve not gone to .308 in a while. I’m not dissing .308, it’s a competent popular round with plentiful ammo. However, Grendel is also popular competent round with plentiful cheap ammo if you don’t reload. At 800 yards Grendel and .308 have the same velocity due to the improved BC of the 6.5 bullets over the 30 caliber ones. http://abesguncave.com/6-5-grendel-vs-308-the-part-everyone-misses/ Here’s a good chart showing drop. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fc5s8y6j6.stackpathcdn.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2017%2F04%2FBullet-Drop-Comparison.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Flifeundersky.com%2F6-5-creedmoor-vs-308-winchester%2F&docid=96X35XPAJLlWOM&tbnid=-kz70RRSn3mLtM%3A&vet=1&w=600&h=279&hl=en-us&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim Just MHO but I’d go, and have actually done so, AR15 in 6.5 G over AR10 in CM or .308.
  17. Damn iPhone typo. Fixed barrel has no piston.
  18. How much diameter do you have? The liberty cans seem to have a pretty small circumference and are multi cal. Fixed barrel has piston. If you put a muzzle device on are all threads above the hand guard? If so the can will sit in the bottom ledge of the muzzle device and clear that way. YHM, SIG, AAC all have cans that attach to their flash hiders and muzzle brakes.
  19. The AuG is less too. I have a consumer aug love it so I thought I’d consider the FA. Under fear of having the shit slapped out me consider the AUG moved to the top of the list. Lol.
  20. I understand what you’re saying but shooting suppressed is well worth the effort. I think they shouldn’t be NfA teams either but I love shooting suppressed. I’m also going through the process now to get a machine gun. I found a full auto styer aug but may still with a m11/9.
  21. C’mon man HK makes nice firearms. I had my Mark 23 at the range the other day and it’s stunningly accurate.
