i should have 2 permits in the next week or so. one will be used on a glock 20. the second will be some sort of wheel gun. still debating a sub 4 in. .357 or a black powder. but i figure i have a few months to mull it over.

Ares gear ranger is awesome. I wear mine every day. hasn't lost much of its stiffness and the buckle is very secure. Plus they look awesome.

I would suspect the state police or local police run it when they get their copies of the permit. If it is stolen you will probably hear about it. the person who sold it will be in trouble as all their info is on the permit too.

just another gimmick that countless uninformed people will buy because they don't know any better. sure it has a specific purpose but very few people need a lightweight BCG to make their gun run better. and if you do run it with a regular gas block you will probably just have to compensate with a heavier buffer so there really is no gain here. ill pass

I have a bit more to add to my previous post. If you want to shoot to 500 yards I suggest that you practice as well. That will have much more of an impact than any type of muzzle device you put on your rifle. I've never shot that far but I have confidence my 14.5 inch barrel with the bcm comp will hit if I do my part. And if your that worried about it, a crowned barrel is never wrong. If your worried about your gf and noise, well I'd find a new gf. But seriously just double up with plus and muffs. Or look into custom hearing protection, the kind where they mold your ear. Ive heard that works really well.

I'm currently having the same issue. It seems noveske is the only manufacturer that makes 14.5 CHF barrels. Everywhere is sold out of them tho. I know a member here bought a satern barrel and he said it looked solid but he hasn't shot it yet. Im waiting on a range report from him before I make any moves myself. To answer your other thread, carbine should be fine with supers and the longer barrel with no suppressor. If you ran subsonic ammo you would need the can. This is based off what I have read as I have no actual expierence with the round yet, so double check that with your own research.But that's the route in looking to go. Unless I find a noveske barrel. They only come in pistol length.

i dont know why people hate the BCM comp. i have one and it works great. i took a class and i had some of the smallest groups in the class. now i cant say that it was because of the comp, my skill, or everyone else was just that terrible, but it kept me on target and isn't as loud as some of the other comps i've tried. i would get it again.

well i just put my lower together minus buffer tube and stock. the only gripe i have is the small screw for the bolt catch stripped out where you put the allen wrench. hopefully i got it tight enough before it stripped out. other than that this is a fantastic lower. very solid and the finish is great. i cant believe i didn't scratch it trying to get the trigger in.

the measurememts might not look much smaller but it just feels way smaller. the single stack mag makes it almost uncomfortable to hold. Theres no meat to grab on to.

These fly overs dont cost us more. They are all training flights. Pilots need a certain amount of hours per month to stay current. These just count towards those hours

I held one today at a gun show in florida. The thing is absolutely tiny. I don't feel I could get a decent grip on it. It just didnt feel right.

If the gas port is drilled already then its as simple as putting 2 pins in. I think you can manage if you put a lower together.

I used mine to ween off the nicotine. Ive been smoke free for about a year and vape free for about 4 months. I miss it sometimes but I cab deal with it and not go back. Plus the extra cash in my pocket is good for buying more guns and ammo

I would use the 300 blk for your pig gun. That's what I plan to do with mine. But if you want another capable hog caliber or DMR/SPR look into 6.5 grendel or 6.8 spc. Honestly though if it were me, I would just build a 5.56 and have a fun range gun.

leave it home. i doubt you'll be able to carry in the venue and PA has the same directly to from the range unless you have a valid carry permit law as NJ. not worth the risk. on another note, i will not be going as planned. my great grandfather passed away so i will have to fly to florida this weekend. eveyone that is going, have fun.

both are solid. if you like what you have then keep it and add the other. i wouldnt get rid of one to have the other tho.

i looked at them and i dont believe they make a 14.5 or 14.7 inch barrel. i will check again.
