  1. I have a NFA build and I like it. Nice and lightweight. Haven't had any issues with it yet
  2. Coltnut, I sent you a PM. Let me know if we can work something out...
  3. I keep pushing to move there, but my job is centered in NYC and I can't seem to get away....
  4. What primers are you using? If you've been using American primers and they're starting to get loose, you can try using some European (they're a little bigger) and see if they fit better for a few more rounds. That said, I don't typically track how many times I've loaded specific brass. I would assume it's somewhere around 15-20 for lighter loads.
  5. To be fair. I had the same press shipped to me the same way and it arrived just fine. While the packaging is kind of weak, UPS is more at fault for throwing it around.
  6. Just took a look and you're priced towards the top end of what the brass is going for, but not high enough to price yourself out of selling it. I'm sending you a PM btw.
  7. I picked up my transfer from them yesterday. I have to say it's a very interesting setup they have. First, it's in the basement of a shopping plaza so that alone makes for an unusual experience. Getting over being underground in a gun store, they have very friendly staff. I was actually taken aback by not receiving the typical NJ gun store attitude. There was some 18 yr old customer bugging one of the salespeople for over an hour and the guy fielded every one of his dumb questions. From the conversation, I also gathered it wasn't his first time in that shop browsing. There are no counters so you can actually have a normal convo with the staff and not feel separated. That's a big positive in my book. That being said, their selection is very limited. They had 6 ars, 6 shotguns, a few bolt rifles, then maybe 20 pistols. I understand that supply is limited but I've seen other stores have a full selection. Their prices were on the high side for the guns, at least the few that I noted. Maybe I'm just jaded from ordering everything online. Their transfer fee was high for my taste especially considering it was just a receiver and I picked it up the same day it came in. They charged tax on their already high price of $50. So it was $53 something including NICS. I feel that charging tax on a govt tax is a bit redundant. Only reason I went to them is because they are literally next door to where I live now otherwise I would've been driving to Lincoln Park. As an aside, I got to tour their vault and it's impressive. Not sure I'd ever have a need for their storage services but they did have people's guns in there. Overall a rather pleasant gun shop experience. Will probably be back and will probably take their Utah ccw class in July.
  8. First thing I did with mine. Also you should look up "how to make Glocks rock". It's a video by a glock armorer. Goes over all of the fine points
  9. Underpressure charge can cause a kaboom just as easily. I'd walk the charge up a bit. I've never used vv powders but it seems that you might have some room to go up. Work it up slowly and keep an eye on pressure signs.
  10. I'm also willing to bet that if you called hornady, they'd be able to help you faster than Natchez. They actually have a stock to be able to ship out.
  11. Fedex ground hires subcontractors to deliver. They could give a sh*t how they treat your package since they're not actually part of fedex.
  12. Depends on where the safe is located. That said, I usually throw a few desiccant packs in there. If you want a good dehumidifier, get a goldenrod. /thread
  13. I'm a maybe. I've bee wanting to try uspsa but I gotta find time to make some ammo. What's the typical round count?
  14. If it's repaired and the "firearm" portion of it doesn't receive a new serial number then it can be shipped directly back to you. If it needs to be replaced, it must go through a ffl.
  15. PV typically bases shipping costs on order value. That would be around $14 for shipping.
  16. If you have room in the oven, set it for about 175 and put the stock in there in a baking pan. All of the cosmoline will come out within 20 or so minutes.
  17. If anyone in the Morristown/Parsippany area wants to split shipping, I'm in. I need a new range bag
  18. Where abouts in Morris County?
  19. I don't think they ask for license when purchasing ammo so he should be good to go.
