  1. Looks like Cornyn's has the same issue as before: ...." Cornyn's plan would grant reciprocity while still keeping intact state prohibitions on those not allowed to have gun permits. " He highlighted these points in his bill: Allows law-abiding citizens to exercise their fundamental right to self-defense while they are traveling or temporarily living away from home. Allows individuals with concealed carry privileges in their home state to conceal carry in any other states that also allow concealed carry. Does not establish national standards for concealed carry. Does not provide for a national concealed carry permit. Respects state laws concerning specific types of locations in which firearms may not be carried and types of firearms which may not be carried by the visiting individual. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/cornyn-offers-reciprocity-for-17-million-concealed-carry-permit-holders Since virtually no one in this state gets approved, his version won't help us.
  2. Exactly, anyone want to take a bet when he'll get in trouble again? Why was he a "prohibited person"? Here, I found out why: Williams is a convicted felon, according to court records. He was released from prison on parole last March, court records state. He served more than 14 years after pleading guilty in Montgomery County court to six counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of felonious assault. Six other robbery charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal hatched with prosecutors in 2003, records show. Williams was sentenced to 20 years and received more than seven months of credit for time served in jail before the case was adjudicated, his court file states. Williams was charged with promoting contraband in 2005, when authorities accused him of having marijuana in prison. In that case, he was sentenced to 15 years. The sentence was imposed to run concurrently with — at the same time as — the Montgomery case, records state. https://www.al.com/news/2018/12/wild-wild-west-rapper-boosie-describes-scene-of-ak47-shootout-at-alabama-club.html So, yes, she screwed up, he should not be here right now.
  3. ....." The guard shot Williams at least once, in the leg, and then helped treat his wounds. “I’m not here to kill anyone,” she said. “I saw one of the entry wounds was on his thigh which can sometimes be a somewhat dangerous place to bleed out. I keep a trauma kit and tourniquet on me as everyone who carries a gun should.” “Thankfully, he is still alive today,” she added. “One day he is going to have the opportunity to make better choices.” Bad, bad , bad choice and mindset... he's alive today, and stands to make the choice to retaliate and come after her in the future. She made a bad decision. Exactly. That's the point to pulling the gun, to stop the threat permanently.
  4. You better be careful, or we're going to start charging you for this entertainment!
  5. From the article: ..."The push to criminalize private gun sales is being presented as a universal background check requirement. Such checks would require Americans to get government permission to sell a gun to a neighbor, a life-long friend, or a co-worker. NPR reports that Rep. King said, “When background checks are used, they keep guns out of the hands of people we all agree shouldn’t have guns.” King did not mention that Gabby Giffords’ attacker passed a background check for his gun, as did the November October 1, 2017, Las Vegas gunman, the June 12, 2016, Orlando Pulse gunman, the October 1, 2015, Umpqua Community College gunman, the May 23, 2014, Santa Barbara gunman, the July 20, 2012, Aurora movie theater gunman, and the November 5, 2009, Ft. Hood gunman, to name a few." Somehow, these idiot politician still haven't figured it out, it's not the background checks that are the problem.......... or the inanimate object (the gun)......
  6. This is what I said the Dems will do. They will throw crappy Bill after Bill out there, this one could pass in the House. They will just bury Trump and the Senate, in piles of B.S. legislation, investigations and false claims, hoping something will stick. There will be NO helpful legislation coming out of Congress the next two years.
  7. Oops... there goes 90% of potential candidates....
  8. I'm NOT seeing it, running Firefox with AdBlocker Plus, so maybe it's coming off of one of Max's advertisers. Nah, just part of the software upgrade that sends your information and postings directly to the NSA and CIA.... Nothing to see here..
  9. Exactly... I never buy "sloppy seconds" on cars, tools or guns, or anything else. Many are called "rebuilt" for a reason.
  10. Hmmm, some of that has already disappeared here. Remember the Kavanaugh hearings, you know, "Guilty until proven Innocent"? I wouldn't take that type of behavior for granted. Some of the Democrats could care less about the Constitution and the Rule of Law. Use that as a reminder.
  11. This ain't going to cut it or get any traction: PITTSBURGH - Hundreds of people gathered Monday in downtown Pittsburgh for an open carry rally in response to proposed gun control measures introduced by the City Council last month. Part of Grant Street was blocked off, and precautions are in place as gun rights activists from around the region take part in the rally. The proposed legislation being protested would ban semiautomatic weapons within the city. If it's approved, advocates have said they will sue the city. https://www.wpxi.com/news/top-stories/hundreds-gather-for-open-carry-rally-outside-city-county-building/900133861
  12. My son is using that in his safe, which is in the garage. So far, it's working fine. Only issue is that you need to remember to take it out and recharge it when necessary, so make sure to mark your calendar.
  13. Or, more frequently, depending on the situation: FBI Warns About Altered Fingerprints The Federal Bureau of Investigation is cautioning authorities to be on the lookout for suspects who may be trying to dodge their past by altering the crucial identifiers at their fingertips, as they said in a release last week.
  14. Ha... You need to be logged into FaceFarce to view that page. I bet the NSA and CIA really appreciate the help!
  15. My statement was a general question to if there were any Patriots left. The "you" was just a generic "everyone" reference, not you specifically. The "drawn line" question was to see if anyone has actually considered that. Due to lack of any other responses in the thread, I can only surmise others will just bend over and take it in the shorts AGAIN, when Murphy signs the 5 round mag law and the semi-auto ban. They don't have any line in the sand. Maybe when we get back to muskets, they will. Actually, you're probably right. We might be at the 0.001 percent level at this point.
  16. You think they're pissed off NOW with the tax situation, just wait until the residents of the state do this year's tax returns, you ain't seen nothing yet. Shall I stop over and take you out from under your bed and bring you along?
  17. Wanting your constitution rights given back to you is "overthrowing the government"? Really? This is the dilemma we're in, too many are willing to roll over and give in. Little by little, we are becoming Venezuela, but since the heat is only being turned up slowly, very few have their eyes open. If you're going to worry about what's being posted on an anonymous Internet forum, maybe just stay under your bed, it's safer there. EVERYTHING you already do is being tracked, worrying about what's being posted here is the least of your worries. It's takes a 3% "involvement" to make permanent changes. Are there 3% in this state willing to stop the tyranny and get their God given Rights back as outlined in the Constitution and Bill of Rights? That's the real question.
  18. At what point do the law abiding citizens and patriots push back against this government over-reach? Or, will these same citizens just continue to roll over and take it, year after year? Where's the line in the sand?
  19. He seems to have no clue that shooting houses and cars are also illegal. The mag situation is the least of his worries.
  20. We know that the media will always get it wrong, but at the end of the day, if it was a 30 or a 15/30, they're BOTH illegal, high capacity mags now, so the number of rounds is moot.
  21. Well, since mom's just hanging around, maybe you can get her to earn her keep, and let her do some dusting... Just a thought....
  22. If he flushed them after killing them, does he get a two for one award? 4 for 4 would have been even better!
