Welcome!

Yes. And before the Russian Ukrainian conflict. It was a backdoor gun control move. Some Russian ammo shipped already, but it will eventually stop. Im sure makers like Prvi Partizan in Serbia will step up.

Everything's going up. Even a quick taco bell snack stop with my daughter went up .59 for cheesey rollup (from $1) and up .59 for a veggie burrito (was $2).

My big question is if ammo inc's donation will have a positive effect on their stock price. -
Stock picks..anyone do some small time investing?
father-of-three replied to Displaced Texan's topic in General Discussion
I initially had some at $7, then it did that slide to $4 and bought more then. It's still up and down a bit. Smith and Wesson is on the low side too recently. -
I assume the crypto Market is crashing now because of the Ukraine attack?

Beto now wants to defend the 2nd Amendment???
father-of-three replied to 124gr9mm's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
I do not believe he can hold his real ideology and be elected Governor of Texas at the same time. I hope Texans are smarter than Beto thinks they are. -
As silly as it may have seemed, the y2k scare was probably the starting point for me. It showed me how ill-prepared I was for just about anything. There have been other things over the years, including the Spanish and Greek economies coming close to shutting down their banking systems and how "too big to fail" still has a chance at failing.

This is becoming a regular thing in Philly . . .
father-of-three replied to EdF's topic in Good Guy stops a Bad guy......
At least law abiding citizens in Philadelphia can shoot back. However "Let-em-out Larry" Krasner is soft on crime in Philadelphia. -
Got Eggs, Milk and Bread? It's Snowmaggedon!!
father-of-three replied to Sniper's topic in General Discussion
That's way more snow than we got on the "west coast" of New Jersey. -

Sadly, the bigger organizations get, the chance for complication, let one corruption, gets bigger too. I don't think I would want to see them disappear though. Vacuums aren't always filled by better entities. -
Yep. Even my "non-dog" stocks looked a little meager today.

The numbers appear to speeding towards where they were back in July...maybe lower.

Thanks for the info. I saw that last night and had another "someone must have said something" moments.

She's not the first person to be stereotyped and demonized by the media and I am sure she won't be the last.

It seems to be stuck at $3000-ish... I think it sunk to $2000 last July.

Omicron explosion spurs nationwide breakdown of services

There was that recent bagged salad recall, but I have also seen intermittent gaps in some foods for several weeks now. The setback with Aldi is that when they don't have one of their two food options,, their shelves look really bare. One of the local milk,/dairy suppliers at my local Shop Rite had a notice on the cooler about having less size variety on milk due to staffing issues. I have been buying extra non-perishables to prep for a potential shortage. -
I'm slowly building up that stash of cash.
