Ulfhednar15@ 19 Posted August 25, 2023 Hi all. I'm currently living in Rutherford but we just inherited a house in Allendale. Wevwere going to sell the Allendale house, but now my wife wants to move to the Allendale house because she feels the school system will be better for our children. My question is 2A wise, is Allendale better, worse, or about yhe same? Any first hand knowledge would be great. Thanks in advance!
Tunaman 558 Posted August 25, 2023 I live in Rutherford for the last 30 years. It is one of the last great small towns around. Access to everything is easy, and the schools are pretty good. PD is also excellent in what they do. Permits are a breeze. Dont even think twice.
Bklynracer 1,266 Posted August 25, 2023 I think you answered the question when you said, My wife wants to move. Both are good towns I wouldn’t base my choice on 2a, some towns are better then others, But your still in NJ.
mjrfd99 88 Posted August 31, 2023 Annandale is further away from the d-rat s-holes than Rutherford. MAJOR ++ The commute can suck but your catalytic converter is still there in the am.
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted September 2, 2023 Yeah, I wouldn't care about 2a stuff when given the choice. But Allendale wouldn't be worse than Rutherford. Allendale 100%
