Mosin for Boar hunt..

Going on a boar hunt at the end of the month, thinking of taking the 91/30 as my rifle. i don't have a scope, but might add one beforehand.. anyone used theirs for hunting? thoughts?? :?:

I am sure many a Russian Peasant took a Russian Blue boar with his Mosin. Why not... it is perfect for that application... and use the irons.

Thanks for the replies guys.... Looks like i'll be going old school and using the iron sights.. I better bring this thing to BA tonight and get some practice in! I like the bayonet idea as well, guess i'll have to clean more cosmo off :roll:
