junkmanted 54 Posted July 21, 2010 it was out 1 time and it did well you figure theres nothing touching the barrel and theres 2 pillow blocks that hold the action in the stock so it could only improve it

Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted July 22, 2010 Is that set up to recieve normal AK stock & pistol grip? If so, thats DAMN COOL! Is the scope mounted to the reciever via a rail or modded?
junkmanted 54 Posted July 22, 2010 Yes it will take a stamped AK butt stock and he mounted a AK rail to the side so any scope that fits a AK will fit that

Ray Ray 3,566 Posted July 26, 2010 This Mosin stuff is too much for my little brain to handle. All I can say is "wow".
sirsloop 1 Posted July 26, 2010 HAHAH... just take yours apart Ray and you'll see how simple the design is. Next thing you know you'll be sanding down stuff, filing off metal, adding washers to the trigger, adding pillars, bedding, etc etc etc etc etc.... usnmars 136 Posted July 27, 2010 a trigger mod is easy and reversible ray, go and buy another trigger spring(sear) and modify that one to get a nice trigger. Save your old one and if you dont like the modified one, slap the old one back in.

Then I'll see what I have, and SBR her and make it a ghetto blaster!
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted July 27, 2010 what would a trigger mod accomplish? The trigger on my M44 isn't bad...
usnmars 136 Posted July 30, 2010 I tweak the triggers on some of my nicer guns to about 1.5-2lb with almost 0 creep. It makes more precision shooting possible and enjoyable. Many mosins have horrible triggers from the distributor. I had one that literally had a 15lb pull, so a little stoning, polishing and drilling and I had my precision trigger.
