Okay.... think about this..... you are riding along, doing the speed limit. Someone gets in

behind you and starts to tailgate. After awhile, he passes you really fast, flips you the bird, honks his horn, then throws a lit butt at your car, then speeds off. A little ways down the road, you notice his car flipped over on the side of the road. Question.... 1- do you do the humanitarian thing and go to his aid. 2- keep on truckin' like nothing ever happened.

Pretty much, aside from a few life threatening situations, there isn't much you can do to help him with no equipment and no ambulance.

Something similar happened to me just this past winter, just after a snowstorm. Was driving down route 1 south in New Brunswick, was in the right hand lane and starting to exit onto Route 18. Some guy in a Nissan Maxima zooms up from the left side doing at least 60, cuts in front of me into the right lane, then hits a snow drift on the side of the road, poof crosses back to the left side and into the embankment. There was nowhere to stop so I just drove on, shaking my head at the stupidity of people.

If there are no other witnesses, flip him the bird, honk your horn, throw a lit butt at his car, then speed off...then call 911. That way, you're both a jerk and a humanitarian.
