That's a heck of a read.

The data is indisputable, though I'm in the boat that is waiting to see what happens after the dust settles. Plus, I would have rather he ran the tests on an Mk17 as I think that's what would make/break it personally for me.

His results confirm my suspicions. A salient point about the SCAR being able to press on when the lube has dired, baked off, whatever is an attractive point and one I have heard several SCAR owners make. Im still a bit concerned about parts though. I guess the good news is that its like 80 something % parts interchangability between the 16 and 17 and since the 17 still has uncle sugar contract....

Good stuff. I still can't get past the reciprocating charging handle, but there's no doubt the SCAR brings some goodness to the table.
