PX4 Storm

Recommended Posts

Lot of people think they are fugly. Not me. I like'em!

Interesting. Never heard that about the PX4's or Beretta's in general. I personally think the PX4 is the best looking poly pistol on the market. But then again I rate Glock as the second best looking poly pistol.

XD's and Walthers are just butt ugly.

PX4 is on my short list. I think there are much more attractive guns, such as a 92FS or a CZ75B, but I love the PX4 trigger. I wish it would accept the 92 magazines, though. I would certainly like to have one, but I cannot decide between that and the FNH FNX.

I think I actually prefer the FNH FNX-9, though. It looks better and it a little less blocky feel to me (imagine that)!

Yes, I like the FNX. If I could get magazines for it that were NJ commpliant, even 10-rounders. But, there are two things I don't like about the FNH. It cannot be completely broken down and has to be factory-serviced, and it will not accept the magazines from the soon-to-be released FNS.

I might have to get both to fully decide which I like better, though, and I might need to compare it to the Stoeger Cougar as well. Everyone should have a gun with a name like Cougar. It sounds better than Storm.

Still, the PX4's beauty kinda grows on you. And, the grip feels really good and that trigger is awesome. If anything, I mimight have to get this for my wife.

Really nice photo, by the way.

I agree on the ugliness of the XD, and I don't like the grip safety.

9mm

That must be some sweet shooter. I have the PX4 40 full size and its a soft shooter, the 9mm must be a cream puff. I just put 300rds though it yesterday at the BH. As always, no failures or problems of any kind. I did by a Hogue Handall grip for it yesterday, makes the gun look really cool, and it feels great in the hand. I got to go back to the range next week and try out the new grip.

I am thinking about getting a PX4 9mm Full Size Type C. I feel I have to get one of those type c's. I love the look of the clean, smooth slide on the C and D models.
