Super Vepr caliber .308 comes with 2 -10 round mags that are interchangeable with other standard Vepr .308 mags. All veprs have heavy barrels, but the super vepr has a Target Fluted barrel that has integral compensated. The super vepr has the side scope mount rail. This is the same type of rail as on all other veprs and most aks that have a rail.

I have a regular vepr (the ones imported by Rob Arms 10 years ago), and did see these new imports in person. The wood on these is a little blah.

 

However have yet to see the new Super Veprs. Just know ahead of time, only 10 round mags, and they are a bit expensive. =)

Welcome.... and two completely different guns. =)

 

Caliber wise, love the 308 round... but the guns are totally different.

 

Vepr = based on RPK heavy duty receiver, AK action.

Dragunov SVD = SVD action.

 

This will be good for about 1.5 MOA though.

 

I have a vepr in 223 (the original veprs) and love it. The new ones are a little cheap feeling.
