Designed by the same man that did the Steyr in its entirety and the Glock partially. Been seeing tests and comments about the Caracal for over a year now, but they are now making a push to become a presence in the US market. They are made in the UAE, but I understand they are establishing brick & mortar in the US and it may include some manufacturing facilities. Maks probably saw (and handled) these at SHOT range day. They did have some significant teething problems and I don't know if they have been resolved. (Hey what do I know, I bought a Steyr?). Admittedly it is certainly better looking than either of its siblings.

 

The Steyr will make its re-debut at Shongum this Saturday.

I don't think too many companies have tried to imitate Glock's ergonomic design, which is comparable to a 2x3.
