Jon 264 Posted December 10, 2011 Insane. Some of those wrecks did not look survivable...
hd2000fxdl 422 Posted December 10, 2011 I don't know either Jon, I know a slide at those speeds are survivable, sometime with just a little soreness but it's the bouncing that hurts. I have always wanted to do the course they set up over there, not that anything close to the speeds that are going but maybe pushing it a little. I am more of a Speedway guy, I would rather have a bike with no brakes, only turns in 1 direction and only 1 gear if I was to put my butt on a race track, now that I write that, that doesn't sound good, but it sure is fun.. 1down5up 7 Posted December 10, 2011 The Isle of Man TT is absolutely nuts. Check out the documentary Closer to the Edge. Trailer here: http://youtu.be/QldZiR9eQ_0 Good watch for anyone not just 2 wheel fans.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted December 10, 2011 Damn, I can't believe those tank slappers regained control. Cool video though. The Isle is one of the coolest races.
CageFighter 236 Posted December 11, 2011 I wanted to race that a long time ago! That course would be a dream come true, unfort the finances always got in the way. I have old vcr tapes of the TT. There was a team from the Piscataway area that raced, his name was Dwight Mitchell. http://www.dm8.com/
