Thing came out nice. My father-in-law took that one in sascatchawon. Thing is absolutely huge. It was 168 pounds.

i love hunting but hunting an animal just for pelt or something unless they are a really bad nuisance like coyotes or prairie dogs is a little hard for me to do especially since wolves are my favorite animal. nice catch however. he looked beautiful and ya big

I was waiting for a comment about this as I think it's beautiful. As long as you hunt for a purpose then I'm all for it.

He didn't go out specifically for wolf. It was a deer trip but at the place he went wolves and coyotes are a nusence so if you can shoot one they encourage it. here is the deer he got.

I personally didn't. I didn't go on trip. Because of laws it tool 4 years to get the wolfs pelt through customs to nj. The deer head came through with no problems. From what I understand the ranch had to say the owner shot it and my father in law bought the pelt. But even that took some red tape. Their apparently is only 1 state that would allow it then it had to be shipped from there to nj. A lot to explain how it all was done legally.

That is a very nice pelt. We just ended our 2nd wolf season here in Montana. You do have to keep the population numbers down or they will kill to much game,your pets, etc. until they even starve.
