Need help with Ruger 10/22 stock

Recommended Posts

I have a Ruge 10/22 carbine with a synthetic stock and I am interested in getting a normal-looking replacement stock, or some kind of recoil pad to make the stock stock longer and more comfortable to shoot. Anybody have any thoughts. I was thinking about a Hogue stock, or some kind of pad if I could find one. However, there aren't any screws or any way to attach it to the stock synthetic one.

Does anybody have experience with the Hogue overmolded stock?

I have one on my 1022, great replacement. Close to size of the stock one , but a bit longer. It's nice because it adds some nice weight to the gun, with the stock one it felt more like a toy.

Hey Joe how about this on an original stock... http://www.midwayusa...ed-rubber-black I have original stocks laying around, everrybody does.

It won't fit on the synthetic stock, or a wooden one that doesn't have the cutout.

Does it make it long enough to feel like a full-size gun?
