Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle

I see that Cheaper than Dirt has some good prices on these new Henry AR-7 Survival rifles that brake down and store in the stock. They look like a good rifle to have as a extra store away. Anyone have experience with these guns?

I've sold many of them, its really made for camping/hiking, easy to pack away. Henry makes great products.

I saw the same thing and though my 10/22 is just as good and that will do.

I have an original AR-7. It's seen quite a few rounds an keeps on ticking.

 

It is what it is.... It's a back pack / survival rifle. On my original I did reduce the size of the peep sight but that's it.

 

The new Henry rifles look better and are more expensive, But you get a rail on top of the reciever and two mags.

 

You're not going to get anything else as small and lite. And it floats. I just think the new Henry's are a $hitty color.

Nick I thought they ONLY made silver and camo now. Correct?

 

Mine is black and I like it. I think the silver or camo with the blaze orange insert looks cheesey. And I'm not one really concerned about looks.

WOW!! stand corrected. Very nice, It is as I said, improved with the rail on the top and two mags. I could be interested in a new one. Now where to stash the scope?
