gunguy1960 2 Posted May 13, 2012 Can I use a slidefire stock at the jackson range? If not what ranges allow it? Frankly I hope they all do.
ZOMBIE 19 Posted May 13, 2012 As I understand it the AG decided that those are illegal. I cant find the actual statement but im sure someone with more knowledge will chime in.
ZOMBIE 19 Posted May 13, 2012 They are legal and yes you can use them at CJ in Jackson. They are most likely going to make them require a special use badge though. hmmmmmm looks like i need to do a little shopping then

Ray Ray 3,566 Posted May 22, 2012 I'm confused why anyone would want a Slidefire stock I'm confused as to why anyone would by a 1911 in 9mm, or put a red dot on a pistol. But to each his own.
Sixtytwo327 14 Posted May 22, 2012 But to each his own. True - if you want one just to have one and can afford the ammo bill, then go for it. To OP question - I have been to some ranges outside NJ that limit the rate of fire - no more than 1 shot per 2 seconds or per 5 seconds or something. I imagine some range officers might have a problem with potential cross-lane fire or infrastructure damage, though this is speculation on my part. On private land, with a bunch of junk for targets and a ton of surplus ammo - that could be fun. Has anyone here shot one?
Jon 264 Posted May 23, 2012 I've shot it, and it was a flimsy POS in my opinion. Better than dropping 15k on an M16 lower, but I wouldn't burn the cash on one.
