anyone pick up glock 20 10mm 4th gen?

Recommended Posts

yes, 10 milli ballistics are amazing. Ps I would go third gen I think gen 4's are crap right now. I was a huge Glock fan since gen 4 it's fading rapidly

Agree my gen 4 23 had ejection issues.. all glock did was throw parts at me (well an armourer) and it never really fixed it. Occasionally it still has issues

They may have.. they sent me a new recoil spring.. ejector..and all the internal spring's. The parts were mix matched and i think the result was old recoil spring.m new ejector old spring. Works ok now.. throws brass 10 feet easy.. just every onve and a while i stove pipe. Oh well

anyone pick up glock 20 10mm 4th gen? from what I understand she has a double captured spring and wondering if there is a difference in recoil compared to the 3rd gen, I feel an upgrade bug biting...

Yes, the Gen4 has a dual recoil spring (RSA). Yes there is a difference in recoil, especially noticeable when you shoot hotter ammo.

I just put some Remington Golden Saber 185gr +P 45acp through my Gen4 Glock 21 the other day. The GS +P stuff is pretty hot as far as 45acp goes and the gun handled like a dream.

Not sure if the Gen 4's are available yet to the general public but I know they have been made already. I just purchased a 20 for transfer 2 weeks ago and am waiting on my purchase permit before I go pick it up. It was brand new the dealer just got it and it was a Gen 3 SF (short frame).

Here's a google pic of the gen 4.
