Nice collection of stamps on that one stock. Dave, who made the 03 rifles (Rock Island or Springfield Armory), and who made the 03-A3 rifles (Smith Corona or Remington)? Also, was your Winchester a Dane return?

 

Lets see who can name all the arsenals that did the rebuilds on those rifles (besides the SA /GHS).

That one on the left is my style! 1903s are SA, M1 is a Dane return, mostly WRA except new VAR. 03a3s are one of each.

This is just a sampling of the number and quality of Garands I used to have. Injured on job and had to sell quite a few. Yes there is an M1C there with an M81 scope and serial # mount matching.
