Combat Auto 174 Posted December 1, 2012 Am I correct that this is table shooting - no holsters?
tony357 386 Posted December 1, 2012 You can draw from a holster..
alec.mc 180 Posted December 1, 2012 Am I correct that this is table shooting - no holsters? This is a steel challenge event, you start with gun ( centerfire pistol ) holstered and draw at timer. You can opt out of holster and take a 2 or 3 second penalty PER run. Rimfire pistols and carbines don't require holsters
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted December 2, 2012 We're out. Wife woke up with teeth pain, the point of tears teeth pain. I hope its not another root canal. Hopefully we'll make it down to the range later to say hello.

alec.mc 180 Posted December 2, 2012 holy crap scores were out before I got home. Thanks Rich. http://www.centraljerseysteel.com/results/cjstl1212.pdf 1st in Rimfire Irons, 2nd in Revolver
QuePsiPhiSmkr 14 Posted December 2, 2012 First time out...I had a good time...learn a valuable lesson... Do not touch adjustable sights unless you shoot it at range. Try to do a quick adjustment and it screwed me up.... Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
Sivl32 27 Posted December 3, 2012 I've adjusted my sights way to many times before a match and screwed myself over.. now i finally have em where i want it and i never have time to come out for a match. blah!
Mikeythumbs 1 Posted December 3, 2012 Yeah I mess with my sights too much too but never at a match. I will change my sight pic but you can't verify sight changes right away and you shouldn't change sight setting without being able to fire slow controlled groups to verify changes. I did have a fun day yesterday shot good in rimfire ehh in center fire and I will deffinitly be getting a new holster mine cost me at least 15 seconds and numerous grip issues from having to rip the gun out toget it to release
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted December 3, 2012 Sorry hope the wife feels better Thanks. She was pretty miserable yesterday and has an 11:00 apt with the doc. I'm hoping an ear or sinus infection that is causing pressure on her teeth. I can't afford any more effing root canals.
alec.mc 180 Posted December 3, 2012 Some boring videos. Had some good solid runs with the revolver, and had some complete crap embarrassing runs. Need to work on the consistence! Oh well, it's still a new gun to me, ....( and the sun was in my eyes ! ) My Revolver stages: My Iron Rimfire stages: JonF's Stages ( Pistol Iron & Pistol Rimfire Open):
