This is a steel challenge event, you start with gun ( centerfire pistol ) holstered and draw at timer.

 

You can opt out of holster and take a 2 or 3 second penalty PER run.

 

Rimfire pistols and carbines don't require holsters

First time out...I had a good time...learn a valuable lesson... Do not touch adjustable sights unless you shoot it at range. Try to do a quick adjustment and it screwed me up....

I've adjusted my sights way to many times before a match and screwed myself over.. now i finally have em where i want it and i never have time to come out for a match. blah!

Yeah I mess with my sights too much too but never at a match. I will change my sight pic but you can't verify sight changes right away and you shouldn't change sight setting without being able to fire slow controlled groups to verify changes.

 

I did have a fun day yesterday shot good in rimfire ehh in center fire and I will deffinitly be getting a new holster mine cost me at least 15 seconds and numerous grip issues from having to rip the gun out toget it to release

She was pretty miserable yesterday and has an 11:00 apt with the doc. I'm hoping an ear or sinus infection that is causing pressure on her teeth. I can't afford any more effing root canals.

Had some good solid runs with the revolver, and had some complete crap embarrassing runs. Need to work on the consistence! Oh well, it's still a new gun to me, ....( and the sun was in my eyes ! )
