O-gre 7 Posted December 19, 2012 Not sure if I'm describing this right but is it normal for a glock trigger to feel "gritty"? When I pull it slow you notice it.
Jon 264 Posted December 19, 2012 Yes. That's one of the many reasons why glocks suck.

Tactical Turtle 11 Posted December 19, 2012 Its normal... its fine... everytime u pull the trigger it will go bang as long as the ammo is good
Old School 611 Posted December 19, 2012 It's a little gritty. It's a combat gun not a toy. BLK - The parts are electropolished and should be pretty smooth. Cleaning and the slightest drop of light oil, I use micrometer oil, Usually makes a difference.
lunker 274 Posted December 19, 2012 I drop a tiny bit of oil on the cruciform and it smooths out the action.

High Exposure 5,668 Posted December 19, 2012 A Glock pistol has three safeties that all disengage automatically as you press the trigger in sequence. That "grittiness" you are feeling is the triggerbar hitting in all the right places so the gun will go bang. No one ever accused Glock of having a great trigger, but, they do just fine in a social setting. Dry fire the piss out of it. It will smooth out considerably over the next 5000 trigger pulls. All 5 of mine have. Good luck with the new pistol!
O-gre 7 Posted December 19, 2012 Thank you, put a bit of Eezox there and smoothing out already. Do love the simplicty and quality of the Glock.
