Ruger gp100 5" ltd.

Just bought this gun and have been finding a holster that will fit. Don't really want a 6" holster. Anyone else have one?

Cut the 6" holster down 1" or cut the barrel down 1" & buy a 4" holster

Thanks. Feels great in my hand and feels more balanced compared to my friends 6". Wish it had a exclusive marking on it to diStinguish it from other gp's

I know, and to think a S&W Model 29 will have to be my first centerfire caliber in a wheelie. I do have a22LR but that needs to be upgraded to a S&W617.

I wanted a leather holster, but not it seems that's my only option.

NJCK may have your only option. Custom leather may be the route to go. I never understood those that would spend $500 - $100 or more on a fine firearm and then bulk at spending $100 - $200 on good leather in which to house it. I've said it before, it reminds me of the old Bell helmet ad that asked, "Got a $10 head? Then buy a $10 helmet."
