Reference process for more purchase permits?

I have my FID and will be burning my second purchase permit very soon. If I want 2 more handgun purchase permits, do I really need to go through the whole reference process again? For example the first time around my PD contacted my 2 personal references AND my employer. I thought that was only to obtain my FID, however the purchase permits use the same application which requires references.

Yes, I just applied for additional permits in Monroe Twp (Gloucester County) and had to provide 2 references.

Yes same process, going through it now. Although my town does not contact your employer.

Yes, you have to fill it out again. Your town may or may not actually contact them again. I use the same refferences each time and they have not been contacted since my initial FID application.

That's a great idea. But does the PD stare at you funny? I don't want to overdo it.

I use the same. Detective in charge said he will make a note in my file so he can decide if he wants to send more forms out or just re-use the existing ones as long as all info matches up.( address and such)
