I had a tracker for about 2 months then sold it. I didn't care for the really heavy trigger pull and the cylinder kept locking after about 50 rounds. I had the 7 shot one did u get 7 or 9? Hope u get a better one than I did but it def left me turned off from tarus

I have a 4" 617 that I may get rid of. Actually it's my daughters and she doesn't shoot it anymore. She may also want to trade for some type of 38/357 with a 4"in barrel, if you have anything. PM me if you are interested

I love them. They are on my short list. My short list is about 10 guns, my "dream sheet" (MEPS) is irrelevant.

 

Of course, you generally can't put a can on them. Where I live it seems most .22s have cans.

 

But there is just something really cool about these wheelguns. I can't put my finger on it. I think it comes from my youth but I don't think I ever fired a .22 revolver back then. Maybe they remind me of cap guns or the .22 revolvers used to shoot blanks for races at the public swimming pools.

My old Dimondback 22lr revolver 6" barrel (a little brother to Python) shoots very nicely - great single action trigger pull.
