Holeshot 3 Posted March 29, 2013 BTW, can anyone that has a Troy Alpha rail measure the inside opening of the rail for me? I think I should have enough clearance but I wasn't able to find those dimensions anywhere. You should be fine Jorge. Here is a pic looking down a LW 14.5 Middy with a BCM lo-pro .625 gas block and Troy 13" VTAC rail. The pic is a little off center but you get the idea, you should be alright with your cut down FSB. High Exposure 5,664 Posted March 30, 2013 DD Omega 9" and leave the FSA alone. In time you won't even see it. The FS being attached to the barrel assures you won't lose zero if the rail gets loose and it is one less thing to do (not having to flip up a front sight) in the event of a RDS failure. Lalo 13 Posted April 1, 2013 So I picked up the 13" Alpha rail and installed it over my modified FSB. It fit over it without issue and with space to spare. Install was a breeze and the rail seems extremely solid. Without anything mounted on it, if you drop the BCG you can hear the "tinnnnnng" of it resonating which to me sounds like its mounted really solid. I'll post pics up later. Lalo 13 Posted May 20, 2013 Here is an 11" Troy Bravo rail on a different AR. Cutting down the FSB got a lot easier the second time around. Took under 1 hour. Feel free to PM me if anyone needs help doing it.

HKHockey 5 Posted May 21, 2013 Centurion's new CMR seems to be receiving favorable reviews. It is like a rounder profile URX 3. http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=130407
KpdPipes 388 Posted May 22, 2013 guess i need the stock barrel nut then... I believe Samson uses the stock bbl nut with a proprietary dingus that wraps around the nut that interfaces with the rail. http://www.samson-mfg.com/
