revolver barrel lenght ???

Recommended Posts

I have both a 3 and 5 inch barreled revolver...that being said I would think that you would have to decide the primary purpose of the firearm. All around a 4 inch is most practical IMO.

what caliber? 38 ? 357? 45? 44 mag?

for what purpose? range toy? self defense? competition?

if your going to own only 1 revolver, get something like a s&w 686 4" to cover *most* bases....

competition / range use.... 5" or 6"

Alec was right the first time. IDPA restricts barrel length to 4.2" maximum.
