BrianN 0 Posted June 9, 2013 Hey all, I really like the look and function of a .22 with wood stock and forend. Are any companies currently putting out a good quality pump .22 or can anyone recommend an older model to be on the lookout for on gunbroker/at local shops? RecessedFilter 222 Posted June 10, 2013 A pump .22 was always on my dream list. But every time I get the itch for it, I don't feel like spending 600 bucks for one. So it continues to be on the dream list!
BrianN 0 Posted June 10, 2013 the henry seems like a pretty sweet deal. Couldn't find any info on the taurus model though.
MedicYeti 96 Posted June 11, 2013 I happened across an American Eagle pump 22 a few years back. So old it doesn't have a serial number. Part of an estate sale at a local shop, I got it for less then 200. It's a nice shooting little gun. I've plinked with it at 25-50 yards but haven't really tested its accuracy. It's fairly smooth and a lot of fun to shoot. I don't know about the company or the year of manufacture (I'm sure a bing search will educate me - just haven't done it). If you can find one of these I'd reccomend it. I'm not a fan of the Henry pump; my big hands get bumped by the block when pumping.
