Chainsaw grip legal in NJ?

Hi I was just wondering if it is legal to put a chainsaw grip on a Mossberg 500 in NJ? I have attached a picture of what I am talking about.

I think this shotgun was designed as a breacher so in that it makes sense. I kind of like it as well! LOL!

It's legal... They had them locally here in stock for awhile. But yeesh, not worth it.

I saw someone shooting it at shoreshot "they had the owners permission" other wise they won't let you.  The shot it 3x and only hit the target once. It also scared everyone in there, he didnt have good control over it.

Not as many shells as you think.  My brotherinlaw and I have been known to prune trees on our range with a shotgun. 

 

I think that chainsaw grip may be the best thing for a pistol grip shotgun to keep some control over it.  As for me, I am not a fan of pistol grip shotguns in the first place.  I suppose that a lot of people must like them since they are making the handle and the shotgun still every day.

Being an instructor for ballistic breaching i can tell you that that thing is an abortion of the highest order and is relatively useless for breaching.

 

On the plus side, I think that there was a recent law change that will allow you to join the military and serve proudly even if you own one or think it looks cool.
