MedicYeti 96 Posted December 19, 2013 I have one. It's a nice gun. Easy to shoot. I also use it as my carry gun. 12 round magazines are hard to come by at reasonable prices. You will not be disappointed. If your near Cape May County I'll be happy to show you mine.

iCARRY 0 Posted December 19, 2013 Got one, great gun. Carry it sometimes. Botach tactical had 12 round mags last week for $32.00 each with the finger rest.
RS1200XL 4 Posted December 19, 2013 Permits just came in for me, I'm getting an M&P 40c for CC to compliment my M&P9 FS. Great guns, IMO.

I feel like once the trigger wears in a little I'd like it. New felt a little spongy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

67gtonut 847 Posted December 19, 2013 My carry gun also...... Also have a few more M&P's..... great platform
iCARRY 0 Posted December 19, 2013 People always complain about the trigger. I understand why they complain. It does feel like there is sand in there and feels gritty. I shoot lots of handguns, it's all about training. I have never changed a trigger on any gun.
Norseman 2 Posted December 19, 2013 The thing that caught my eye is it's full ambidextrous. I'm a lefty and 90% (or more) of the semiautos out there are righty - or mostly righty. Even most of the ones that have the reversible mag release have the slide lock, release, etc on left side of the gun (setup for a righty). Then after watching the videos and reviews I'm hooked! Blake 50 Posted December 19, 2013 I have one, great little gun. Accurate and recoil is minimal for a small pistol.
iCARRY 0 Posted December 19, 2013 Just remember, on a S&W M&P, it is not a slide release. It's a slide stop. You can use it however you want, but I hate having to fix my guns. I have seen numerous slide stops get sheared off at the range.
Norseman 2 Posted December 19, 2013 You mean like don't use it to release the slide? I use the "slingshot" method where you pull back and release the slide. I'm not sure what you're saying but could you explain so I don't shear mine off either? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Instead of slingshotting the slide, some people including me, just use our thumb to push the slidestop/release down to get the slide to go forward...... This way of releasing the slide has been blamed on to break the end of the slide release off....... and Yes, I have had to replace mine..... so I guess it does.....lol
Norseman 2 Posted December 19, 2013 Lol ok thanks for explaining that one. I know it looks cooler when someone used that slide stop but I just do the slingshot method because that's how I was taught. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CAPTBIL3 10 Posted December 19, 2013 I also carry the M&P 9c and LOVE IT, can't go wrong. As for using the slide stop there's no need on the M&P series, when the slide is back and you put a loaded magazine in the gun, the gun automatically charges.
