2Alpha 6 Posted June 30, 2014 Mike, that was pretty damn good for your first MD job (or I think it was your first MD job). It would have been good for an experienced MD. I'll be honest, I thought that 7 stages would have taken for ever to run everyone through, but it moved smoothly. Thanks Vlad. I had done some smaller matches before, nothing this big. Thanks for the help before and during the match
High Exposure 5,664 Posted June 30, 2014 Very bummed I missed this. I would have taken a day off to attend if that had been an option on work's end. Looking forward to another one soon so that I can make it!
2Alpha 6 Posted June 30, 2014 A quick video of 2 of the stages. I was shooting 308. 10 round mags, but since I didn't have any mag pouches, I taped mags end to end. Ghetto, but it worked. Unfortunately the extractor gave out half way thru the match

Vlad G 345 Posted July 1, 2014 So when and where is the next one. Someone out there has to produce another. It was a great time and many followers that want more. I learned alot are there any going on within the vicinity of nj. One of the issues we run into is range availability. Not all clubs allow the use of rifles in pits (so it is a no-go at CJ) and not a lot of ranges have the facilities. OBRPC is pretty much the only place and the schedule is kinda full. This match happened because there was a 5th weekend in the month, most other weekends of the month are already scheduled with something or other. RIght now the next "interesting" matches scheduled besides the regular USPSA/IDPA/Steel matches would be CJ's shotgun/pistol match in Sept or OB's 3gun match in Sept. Vlad G 345 Posted July 2, 2014 Hold on what shotgun/pistol match in September at CJ I'm planning on running a 2gun match instead of a pistol match in the USPSA timeslot in Sept.
