fatty 241 Posted March 23, 2015 What's a stake cutting match?
Old School 611 Posted March 23, 2015 What's a stake cutting match? Two, two man teams shoot against each other. Shoot at a 2X4 at 10 or 15 feet, maybe 20 I forget but it's close. First team to cut the 2X4 in half wins. Cost you $3 a round / man to shoot. If you win you get $4 / man net $1 It's a blast I go home with a fist full of singles but shoot $75 in ammo...LOL
fatty 241 Posted March 23, 2015 Hahaha... It sounds fun though. Definitely more exciting than shooting at a paper target

Smokin .50 1,907 Posted March 24, 2015 A .45 is a .45! The wood won't know the difference. 230 grain ball is 230 grain ball, lol! We do these with black powder single-shots with 10 guys on each side doing a free-for-all to see who can chomp the wooden stake. It's a HOOT no matter which platform you use, lol! Shapes (you're assigned I think 10 out of 25 don't make a mistake). Shredder, and "Know your limits"
