sorry gents but this is gonna be one of those "is it legal" threads ..

 

it's confusing because the model on the receiver states IAR-15 (iar) ...

what do u think ?

I would say no-go.

 

Too much of a grey area and there are hundreds of other lowers you can choose from. Why buy a potential issue when you can avoid it.

Rock River Arms rifles have been sold here in NJ for a long time to a lot of people.  Do not see a problem here.  In fact I know dealers who have the lower in stock for sale right now!

sweet. my cousin in PA wants to give it to me. he had it forever, buried somewhere and he thought it says IAR-15 which was his concern . But luckily for me , he confirmed it says IAR .

unfortunately colt decided to go back to the ar-15 model number on their 20" rifles

 

i know of plenty of umbrella corp ar-15 lowers in NJ
