  1. Technically you won't anneal the material if it is not heated. You would strain harden it, but if it is not load bearing does it matter? Not sure what your concern is.
  2. Don't see how CCW for licensed law abiding citizens is a public welfare issue. Criminals already carry concealed.
  3. Post Newtown not horrible. It will be awhile before we see pre Newtown prices again.
  4. X=price of shampoo 50=1x + 2 x + (50-3x)/2 + 15 100= 6x + 50-3x+ 30 20=3x x=20/3 Shampoo = $20/3 Lipstick = $40/3 Purse = ($50-$60/3)/2=$30-$15=$15 Edited my last term.
  5. To make it harder for you to exercise your rights, thus less people will do it and less people will have guns. That's their logic.
  6. Not sure what price you worked out or if you have any money down on th order but there is one on GunBroker. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=333379666
  7. Look at the second sticky in NJ Gun Laws....Ongoing for 2 years now.
  8. Here's a pic of mine...I can't wait till those P2P's come in....
  9. This... An L1 comes in around 2700. Can get the competition for a bit less but no adjustable trigger. Sweat gun. I am waiting for my permits to come in, have an X-Six Scandic sitting at an FFL...I look at the pictures of it from the FFL every 5 minutes...

    1911 Help

Most likely the slide stop is not engaged with the barrel link.
  11. To build on this question. If I sell a long arm to a PA resident: Is it ok for me to ship to the FFL in PA or does it have to be NJ FFL to PA FFL. Assuming I can ship directly to the PA FFL, is there any paper work that I would receive back to document the transfer from the PA FFL for my records?
  12. Time to move out of Paterson maybe? Unbelievable...
  13. Take a look at the Kimber Raptor.
  14. I have the Ultra HD. Nice litle pistol, haven't had any major mechanical/operational issues. I did have some issues in the beginning with cycling but was easily solved with wolf spings. My only real complaint is the finish. Kimber's KimPro II finish is far too delecate, but that's isnot a gun platform issue. I also like the HD becasue of the steel frame as I am not a fan of aluminum framed guns. as far a shooting for such a small gun it handles recoil very well and is very accurate.
  15. I muscled thorugh a trigger/hammer job once....once.... It's not terribly complicated, but if you don't do it for a living there is a lot you can screw up. As another person posted above contact points are critical and if you mess them up you could create a non function or worse unsafe firearm. I ended up taking away too much material and had to buy parts twice... Most smiths charge $60-80 bucks for a trigger job which I think is well worth it. My 2 cents...
  16. I've been poking around looking for a reloading press, mostly looking for a Dillon xl650. Dillon is backloged according to their site 6-8 weeks and others say for months. Was looking at this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300864510328?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Basic xl650 with two extra caliber conversion kits which would normally go for $730. Look at what this thing sold for. So now they'll have to find dies probably spend another $500 and then it will probably sit anyway becasue supplies are not readily available...
  17. It's very simple, don't buy it. When no one does the price will come down. God I love the free market.
  18. I don't know, article doesn't make any sense to me. The way it is written implies he was shooting at the people comming through the window, so how is that warning shots? Sounds like self defense shots as they were comming throught the window with weapons drawn...
  19. I suppose you can argue anything, but if it is in common use, which it an AR15 is, I would think it tough to make the argument it is unusual. Might have greater success with that argument for 50 BMG rifles though.
