  1. As many have stated, it doesn't fit their agenda so it will be pushed aside. Now if those statistics were advantageous to them we wouldn't hear the end of it. Just shows the sad state of the media these days and those who pretend to care about gun violence.

  3. Done. Overwhelmingly pro-gun. As one said it will never see the light of day.
  4. Good for them. Sadly, I'd have to think the Board of Health and every other regulating city office will be visiting them soon.
  5. Another senseless tragedy. When will parents learn to keep guns away from young children. http://news.yahoo.com/5-old-boy-shoots-2-old-sister-ky-161229579.html
  6. Very true. They only pay attention to results that are favorable to their agenda.
  7. After attending hearings, writing letters, sending numerous emails and making phone calls, I can only come to one conclusion. The only thing the Legislators of NJ will pay attention to is the BALLOT BOX. The Anti's need to be voted out of office! The NJ legislature is controlled by the Democrats. The vast majority of them are anti-gun. These are THEIR proposals we are trying to convince them that are not good for NJ gun owners. They are not going to change their mind about them. Our only hope on whatever package finally hits Christie's desk is that he will veto some of the things. But if you take the NJ SAFE report and compare it to whatever hits his desk; I'm sure the things that match up will be signed into law by him. As I stated earlier our only hope for changing the course of this debate going forward is to get more gun owner friendly candidates into office. If we don't our rights as gun owners will only continue to erode.
  8. Guess he won't make that mistake again.
  9. Looks like they're ganging up on Sweeney and trying to pressure him to buckle and put all of their bullsh^t in the package. As much as it may hurt most of us, an email to Sweeney showing support for him and his position may be in order. We can't count on Christie to veto this nonsense. http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/04/weinberg_says_shell_push_for_r.html#incart_river_default
  10. A good end to a bad situation. Too bad we'll never see any news headline like this in NJ. Our legislators should pull their heads out of their butt and take a look around the country and see how responsible CCW can save lives but they'd rather continue to exist in their plastic bubble of denial.
  11. Well considering my first was over 25 years ago, it was a Browning Hi Power.
  12. Done. Prayers for a speedy recovery to him and all the others whose lives were changed by that horrific incident.
  13. Congratulations! Now she needs one of these.............
  14. C'mon it's the government. They don't worry about how to implement something or if it's practical, they just pass the stuff! One can only imagine the Clusterf*ck this can turn out to be.
  15. Don't worry. Crazy Uncle Joe Biden said, they're not concerned with us.
  16. It was nice to see him REJECTED! The good part other than that it did not pass is that his Democratic Senate did not pass it. If they did and the Republican House knocked it down, then he would have used that for 2014 election propaganda. Now we have to wait and see what he will try to push through by executive order. He already made the statement he was going that route now.
  17. Waited 9 days a couple of weeks ago. Interesting article about the possible manipulation of the system. http://dailycaller.com/2013/04/11/a-right-delayed-what-happens-if-the-nics-system-goes-down/
  18. Very sad. What kind of A$$hole leaves a loaded gun around the house in arms reach of a 4 year old.
  19. Seems one has the tendency to go with what is tried and true. S&W for me, but that doesn't stop me from purchasing other quality brands from time to time.
  20. Released on $50,000.00 bail! WTF! Sounds like kidnapping, terroristic threats, attempted rape, illegal discharge of a firearm, giving alcohol to a minor and who knows what else. Doesn't say much for our judicial system, but then I guess we all know it sucks..........
  21. Retired my Weber last summer after 16 years or so. Replaced with another Weber. You get what you pay for. Those things last a long time........
