Out of all my pistols, the 2022 is the one I use the least. I have the two-tone with the stainless slide. Still, I can't see myself getting rid of it. Every time I take it out, it still makes me smile when I shoot it.

I haven't read the comics so I have no idea what the story line has to offer. Now I'm just wondering, how in the hell is Rick going to come back from this? They have an armed army with people that would most likely die for Negan. Fighting Negan straight on would be suicide. The only thing I can think of is if Rick overturns Negan and kills him. But to do that, he needs to be on the same level as Negan if not more. I can see that though, Rick becoming an evil shit so that eveyone fears him more than loves him. At least that way he can keep the people he loves safe.

First season of Fear sucked bad. This season things are getting better. Keep watching it.

Yes it does. I tried the sight without a mount first and the dot landed right on the front sight post ring so that was a no-go. Plus I couldn't use the irons with it. This mount raises the sight just enough so you can still use your irons plus the dot is not obscured. You cannot do-witness though. Find it at Amazon - HOLOSUN AACW1.4 T1 Compatible Mount

Primary arms micro dot. No need to spend a lot of money on it since it's just a .22. As long as it holds zero.

Carbine length I presume? It will definitely fit over the gas block. Measure 9" from the upper receiver and see if it goes over the gas block or not.

Can't reverse it by replacing the cut down fsb with a new one? All the low pro gas blocks I researched when I cut mine down had their own set screw or allowed you to drill new holes. That's why I chose to cut down the existing.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Drafting table would look nice and would give me plenty of space, but I'm not sure how it would stand to some moderate weight or the occasional banging when fi of stripping guns or building ARs. The wooden benches I'll have to look into some more. They look relatively inexpensive and can customize them to my liking. I would have to add some peg board and shelves and maybe some paint or stain but that's all doable. I'm still considering getting a second Kobalt bench though. Seems like the easiest/fastest way to get something setup that looks decent. It already has the pegboard, drawers and light and its sturdy enough to withstand the hammering involved in removal my a gas block from an AR barrel.
