I work in Paramus and the Bergen County Police seem to do a ton of random truck inspections on 17
-
This really isn't a big deal, lot's of towns do this regularly or use seat belt checkpoints to do the same thing. As for random plate checks, many departments have outfitted their cruisers with plate readers that do the work for the officers constantly.

Do any of you have any thoughts on the paddle attachment for the Blade Tech holsters? It came in the IDPA starter kit and I like that it seems to hold the holster more rigid than the Stingray Loop, even using an Ares Aegis belt

The link requires a VIP/Promo Code to even see the deal

That's great to hear. I just hope they get that girl the help she is definitely going to need.

It looks like the family was on vacation from NJ according to multiple sources. I really hope no one here knows the family. In particular I'm really hoping this isn't a particularly well known NJ 9 year old shooter.

If you do rent make sure to check how much they'll hit you for if you break any of the teeth. Some places will really nail you for that and they are easy to bust if you hit a big rock. -
The value pack above is the same as their IDPA competition pack but for $40 less and with a free training barrel

Just picked up an M&P 9 and ordered the Blade Tech Shooter's Value Pack

Along with finding a willing FFL you'll probably want to find a range nearby so you can go out together and put some rounds through it together. -

That was a great read. Thanks for posting! -
I would love to attend the next time! Just ordering a new holster and gear now.

I know it's rather pedestrian compared to most of the beers but I've been enjoying Sam Adams Octoberfest. It tastes like fall and I love it.

Do you have any links to the "door diapers"? Those look like a good way to hold some other small items. -
Magazine interchangeability question

Early Mark I's (I have a 1951) will work with MK II mags but you will need to reverse the button which only requires a paperclip to push in the spring on the baseplate. The only problem with doing that is that the new production MK II mags tend to catch on the mag release since the baseplate isn't fixed on place. I actually need to try and sort out a fix for that issue since it's really annoying -
Great writeup but now I want a 45 revolver. Crap

I'll bite. How did you get it out of there?

I've tried to like Glocks before but I really hate the grip angle. It really just doesn't work for me. I didn't mind the trigger though.

$25 and some info is on the GFH website. It looks like you can sign up on there also

I keep meaning to check out the steel event. I'm very interested to hear how it goes.

What can't he do?

Let me guess: JV will say it was a CIA black helicopter false flag operation using the HARP system to discredit him. He's a loon

If you've ever bought Herters ammo from from Cabela's then you know this is good stuff since it's the same ammo in a different box.

Easy to work with and very fair. It was a pleasure meeting you and I won't hesitate to work with you in the future.
