  1. Tomorrow there are all kind of choices to shoot in South Jersey. Redwing in Port Republic, Cedar Creek in Millville, Quinton Sportsman in Quinton, Good Sports gun club in Millville, and Pinebelt in Tabernacle, M&M in Pennsville. No one can say theres nowhere to shoot in South Jersey. You can always find someone to jump in with.
  2. Pick up the Sig. it would be ashame to let it set in place of A Beretta. Just kidding, thats the Sig prefence showing in me.
  3. Yep that is the way it is now. Has been for A while. He should have also given you A ORI # for you to use which identifies your PD. The report will go directly to them
  4. Bob will always go above and beyond as far as customer service is concerned. Before during and after the sale.
  5. Just A thought. We at times start petitions here in our town that concern our town. As you are part of. The issue with asking anyone to sign the Petition even if they dont live there, Can be A detriment to your cause. A petition that is making A request of City reps involving that Cities Tax base can only be signed by Citizens of legal age and residents of that town or City. All petitions are verified and checked for proper signatures of qualified signees. This is A check and balance. We have 2 petitions active here in our City right now, And they will be scrutinized deeply by the city for legal signatures. It would really suck to give your City A petition that has enough signatures, That in the end becomes invalid due to having non residents sign it and it falls short of the number to be considered. I have been and am involved with petitions and this is the quickest way possible to loose A battle before it gets A chance to start. Good luck with the attempt to keep the Rescue Squad the way people want. But follow the rules of A petiton correctly for the good of the petition.
  6. The possibility probably exists of other charges also. No exemption for having A handgun on WMA property. Transport issues with having A handgun at the WMA. Always remember you can get jammed up quick with NJ laws.
  7. I just casually mentioned to takeover to 3 employees at the Christiana store today. All 3 of them giggled and said that dream is about gone.. Must say though that place was hopping today. NRA Days. Charity fundraiser for the Murdered DE Corrections Officers Family. Parking was overflowing into the Mall parking lot.
  8. Just giving A point to ponder. This is NJ after all. Plus there would be limits that have already been litigated in other states.
  9. Because it then would most likely be that non res permits wouldn't be renewed without A valid NJ permit.. Not poo pooing the Hudson bill at all, Just throwing out some thoughts.
  10. Sure. Do you really think that if its A slam dunk that Trenton cant defeat. That they aren't going to do something to make money on it. Or more important to the Dems, Make it out of reach for some to get A permit.
  11. Wow! 512 replies with 3/4 of them being basically I want this I want that. Lets take A different look at this. NJ has A CCW law on the books (yea they don't issue) But heres A thought I'll share just for the hell of it. We can be pretty sure that if this Bill has or can get the traction we hope for. That the State of NJ will pretty much know how this will happen before we do. That said, if it is strong enough of A bill to allow us to carry on the Non Resident permits that some of us already have and have had for A while. I'm pretty sure that if it does not leave A legal opening for our Anti politicians in NJ to be able to fight. That will lead to NJ giving us A CCW permit.. Face it they don't have to make A law, We have one. all they have to do is push the limit to the max of requirements and fees. Which there is A limit that has been ruled on in the case of Washington DC and Illinois. Heres A scenario. CCW Permit fee $500.00, 1 year permit, like in Hawaii, For the limited amount they have issued. Strong qualification and requalification rules. That will cost dollars each time. Then NJ has A small cash cow, I say small because the requirements NJ can impose would send A lot of people running away from A carry permit. And that guys would then make our Non Resident permits about useless because we would be bound by having to have A home State permit. Just some thoughts on the conversation. Then to top that off. All the 2A groups in NJ, can all beat their chests and proclaim the long fought Victory that they promised for years.
  12. We have A Jr. program at Cumberland Rifleman on Sat. starting in April. That said my Grandson started with pellet guns at 6 now at almost 9 he is shooting clays with A 20 ga Rem 1100. as said age and discipline play a big part in decision. I can tell you if it wasnt for us raising him, He would probably never handle guns.
  13. As A restricted driver, Your son has A handful with this citation. 33mph over by statute is An immediate revocation offense, Subject to Judges ruling. This one requires an Attorney. Due to Age and severity of offense. One thing to realize for sure is the letters of advertisement from Lawyers, Are from ambulance chasers. A qualified Attorney that can do the best in this situation doesn't have A paralegal sitting at the clerks office milling for business. That being said, Maybe there is some soul searching to be done as to whether driver privleges should be stopped at the home level. Is your son ready at 17 to handle A situation behind the wheel at 55 mph let alone 88mph? We were all kids we all did dumb things. But we paid the price and learned. Today it seems more than ever that the price of learning is basically nothing. Good Luck and hopefully this is A lesson that sticks with your Son for the future.
  14. Bruce and his crew do very good work. Just be prepared to be without your gun for A long while. When you call to set up the workorder they will give you A timeframe. Ad at least 3 - 4 weeks to that estimate. That way you don't fall into the, Wheres my gun thought. The work will be good but will take time
  15. Frank LoBiondo Mays Landing office 609-625-5008 Washington DC 202-225-6572
  16. Plain simple truth. You will have to pay A fine and court costs. Your decision is do you roll the dice and fight it on your own? (the house always wins) Or do you do like some have said. Go early discuss with prosecutor, (best option) Unfortunatly 1st ticket 1st court lesson.
  17. Browning is releasing 3 Models of the CX O/U at Shot. Seems they changed the rib on them to designate them as specific clay guns. Low rib flat shooter for the field, Mid rib 60/40 for sporting clays and A high ribed trap model. I picked up last years CX which has the 60/40 POI and its A great all around shooter.
  18. I did A transfer at my FFL last Friday, the new line was on the form then.
  19. Just the reverse for me. We spent just short of 5 monthes traveling last year. 95% is in free states that my Utah and NH permits work for me. NH covers PA. Now on the other hand, Your thought of going to A State just to carry, I agree with you. Prime example, When I make A cabelas run, Unless I am spending the day across the bridge, I do not holster up in order to be in DE. for 45 Mins. Those that would I say more power to you. As far as Bach goes, He did what he did with others money which is fine if he had the way to do it. I was referring to his written Statement basically telling NJ Residents not to apply till NH had forms in order, Hell we would still be waiting to apply, the last time I printed one out for A friend which was just before Xmas.
  20. I'm still waiting for him to say its ok to apply for NH non res permits. When the suit was settled he said everybody should wait for NH to get everything changed before anyone applies. OOPS I forgot, Everybody's already getting them.
  21. Thanks for the replies, I picked up my new gun and headed out to shoot, this is my first chance to check in, Took just short of 2 hours to clear this afternoon.
  22. Has anyone run A NICS today? Wondering about approval time. Thanks
  23. Well you just explained our town, Millville. Except the tent cities are A fixture here 3 of them. And we have A unsupervised range that is free and open to the public, No rules no waiting. Its the center city streets, also known as the Ville.
  24. You mean like the law he signed today that takes away you FID card when your wife or girlfriend or whoever accuses you of domestic violence. He isn't worried about no anymore. He's looking for book deals
