Englishtown swap meet this weekend - Anyone going?
ECsandstar replied to mustang69's topic in Events & Meetups
I will most likely be there Saturday mulling around aimlessly with my fiance. Probably buying some junk i dont really need. -
New foresters are so ugly and I hear from people the crosstrek is junk, and slow. The new outback I would drive in a heartbeat. Plus subaru holds its value very well. Maybe an option? Regardless, glad everyone is ok. Could be a lot worse. As mention, cars can be replaced. People can not.

anyone find any more good deals?

This is a terrible tragedy. Words cannot describe this.

That was my first question. So im guessing maybe not and they were just willing to tackle it? However, unlike what some individuals have mentioned. i am NOT bashing GSSC. I enjoy the range and the people who own and run it.
-
I will continue to go to GSSC, but was not happy about their $60 quote to install sights that i didnt buy from them. I still feel thats a tad high.

I said "fuckit" the last time. I was somewhat unprepared but its not like all of humanity vanished. Im thinking i might do a little better this time around in case we go 2 weeks without power again...

G19 ftw! Cant go wrong. I see that you have listed all "standard size" guns. Are you against smaller compact options or specifically looking for a full-size gun?

I couldnt help but to read this thread. I stress about my grass all the time, and every year in July lol. My grass went dormant in mid-july to like early august and i always go nuts about it. So i up the watering to combat the high temps(as well as the water bill) and then when it cools off(now) it goes crazy. I could cut it twice a week, but i like slightly longer/fuller grass. Now, I wont take credit for my lawn being decent because i use a lawn guy for for seed and fertilizer applications. i just have to regulate water and mow it. But it still goes dormant for a couple weeks in the summer nonetheless. It does look a little burned and thirsty but i wouldn't be too worried. Just water it normally and if you want to be proactive... aerate and seed early next month(fescue and kentucky blue). water every day for 2 weeks, then you can probably cut back the watering to every other day.

TTT.....someone help me out here! Really don't want to pay almost $70 for a sight install...
-
Anyone in the Toms River/ Ocean County area have a sight tool that is willing to install my new sights for me? Im REALLY not a fan of just beating them in with a hammer. Thanks!

Craigslist....honda, toyota, nissan...NO VW's unless you feel like investing a lot of time and money into them. VW's are money pits and maintenance on them isnt as easy as a little jap 4-banger. Im actually about to get rid of my Nissan Sentra haha. ITs time to move on.
