  1. It's been sitting in the REPUBLICAN controlled Senate for over a year. If they had ANY intention of voting on it, they would have taken a vote. It ain't ever going anywhere. Nice pipe dream anyway...
  2. How's the video storage on that system, because that's the most important part of any system. Does it save complete clips or just preset lengths, are events easy to find and retrieve, is it easy to copy and give clips to LEOs for investigations, does it do full coverage of all access areas, etc?
  3. Yep, and sadly the gun owners just continue to bend over and take it. Murphy and crew will push this all the way back to muskets, without a single peep from the masses.
  4. Sadly, in ANY form, it doesn't look edible to me or "yummy"... Now, if you're going to pack pork by-products into a foreign container (besides the one it originally came in), at least this one is more palatable.
  5. Apparently, you're not a Spam expert. It's called a Spam single, a single wrapped slice, not from a can. https://www.spam.com/varieties/spam-single-classic
  6. Hmmm, if faced with eating some unknown pork product from a can like this: I think I would gamble and try this stuff that the pup eats instead: Certainly seems more edible then that Spam stuff....
  7. Get one of these. Set up an automatic backup so it copies your files everyday. https://www.amazon.com/Passport-Portable-External-Drive-WDBYNN0010BBL-WESN/dp/B01LQQHIEC/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_147_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=C340P5Q7SQBZ090RPZ4X Programs will have to be reinstalled on the new computer, data files can be copied over.
  8. Exactly right. The people who were claiming transport was illegal after June were incorrect. That's why there was a grace period, to allow people to sell, transfer, get modified or ship the mags. Common sense tells you that you can't do those grace period tasks if you weren't allowed to transport and leave your house after the law was signed in June. This is also why we haven't heard of anyone being busted at the range for having 10+ round mags since June. It was still OK to possess 10+ rounders outside the house.
  9. Half of that is legal: own and use until Dec. 10th. is Legal. Sell is fine, to someone out of state. If instate, the illegal part falls on the buyer unless they are LEO. Trade, if for 10 rounders in state, that's fine. Trade for 10+ instate, illegal. I would bet over half of the SP are clueless, they have a lot more important things to worry about than 10+ round mags.
  10. Actually, they added one additional line to the bill before it was signed which references "modification": 1[4.] 5.1 (New section) 1[Any] Except as provided in section 7 of P.L. , c. (C. ) (pending before the Legislature as this bill),1 a person who legally owns a semi-automatic rifle with a fixed magazine capacity exceeding 10 rounds or a large capacity ammunition magazine as defined under subsection y. of N.J.S.2C:39-1 which is capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition on the effective date of P.L. , c. (C. ) (pending before the Legislature as this bill) may retain possession of that rifle or magazine for a period not to exceed 180 days 1[from] after1 the effective date of this act. During this time period, the owner of the semi-automatic rifle or magazine shall: a. Transfer the semi-automatic rifle or magazine to any person or firm lawfully entitled to own or possess that firearm or magazine; b. Render the semi-automatic rifle or magazine inoperable 1or permanently modify a large capacity ammunition magazine to accept 10 rounds or less1; or c. Voluntarily surrender the semi-automatic rifle or magazine pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.2C:39-12. https://legiscan.com/NJ/text/A2761/id/1812547
  11. This new mag law has been beat to death here on the forum, and there are members here who still don't understand it. There's been multiple reports by people that their local LEOs are clueless to the content of the law and know nothing about it. Then, we have others here who think the guys in the black SUVs are coming to kick in their front doors searching for +10 round mags now, or think they'll be lines of busses and LEOs waiting at the ranges on Dec. 11th to cuff anyone showing up with a +10 round mag and take them to jail. Amazing stuff.
  12. I mentioned in the past that these crazy Democrat gun haters will be throwing what ever they can out there, hoping to get something to stick. There's no end to the unbelievable unconstitutional laws they will try and pass. Come January, when the new Dem controlled House gets seated, expect a LOT MORE off the wall Anti 2A Bills. -------- (CBS NY) -The bill, drafted by state Senator Kevin Parker and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, would give state officials the ability to review up to three years worth of internet search history, reports WKBW Buffalo. Providing more information on the newly-drafted bill, Rochester First is reporting that the search history will come from major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Also, anyone applying for, or renewing a pistol permit would have to give up all login information, including passwords, for any social media sites they’re a part of. https://www.rochesterfirst.com/news/local-news/proposed-law-would-let-state-search-gun-owner-s-social-media-and-internet-history/1610876946 IS IT TIME YET???????
  13. That's true. When I had my boat, the dock worker would hand me the pump nozzle to handle it, he wouldn't do it. Apparently, the ability to self pump in the state only pertains to autos.
  14. Hope everyone has a Happy Turkey Day!!
  15. Gee, I wonder if there is any connection between these numbers and her failed bid to be President?
  16. Hopefully, all the turkeys everyone is cooking aren't able to shoot back, and defend themselves!
  17. Try these, nobody will know the difference.
  18. @Greenday Is that the only place people smoke weed? They stay home and never get in the car, and endanger others and drive after smoking? They never smoke at work or during lunch, possibly endangering co-workers or the company due to errors and mistakes? They never smoke at parties and get-togethers then leave in their cars? Wow... just wow.... There are no words... Comparing using a gun to protect you and your family from bodily harm is more dangerous? Maybe to the perp trying to do you harm. Versus injuring or killing someone while DWI? Just how much did you smoke before posting that crap?
  19. Just remember, he originally said he's here for the debate. I wonder how that is working out for him?
  20. Here's a link to an article that describes all the new laws Murphy signed in June. There are links to each individual bill in it, so you can read the exact text of each one. https://observer.com/2018/06/new-jersey-gov-phil-murphy-signs-6-gun-control-bills-into-law/
  21. A bunch of the restricted mags I've seen have been done this way, by different suppliers, and were claimed to be "NJ Compliant".. The baseplates could be removed and the blockers taken out. Even Glock seemed to think it was acceptable. The only thing I know that's truly "permanent" is death.
  22. Now that would be a tragedy if that happened.... decisions, decisions...
  23. I agree, and I also believe banning Internet sales isn't too far away. When that happens, expect prices to go crazy like they did back in Sandy Hook times. Does everyone remember those crazy price levels. So, maybe, since prices are so good now, it's time to stock up with what you think you'll shoot the next few decades. Get it while you can. Makes me wish I had a basement. Eating is overrated, shooting is much more fun!!
  24. The happy employees: What happens if the boss turns them down when they ask for the next raise?
