I have an Smith and Wesson SW1911PD model 108294. Great handgun. Finish and feel are top notch. 1000 rounds through it and no issues. For the price its one of the nicer out of the box 1911's. Again it was under $1000. If your looking to sell your car or put your house up there are other choices but personally I like my house So I'll stick with the S&W

I have never been a fan of Smith Semi's with the exception of the Model 52. Their 1911 may be the 2nd exception. the one i shot was very nice. Glad to her you like yours.

I gotta agree with you on this. Semi's is something Smith never seemed too get. I had a 659 back in the day. What a POS. And the Sigma :roll: Live and learn. Good luck with those 1911's. If they F'up you can always say it's the design and not the manufacturer As the old saying goes. "1911's keeping gunsmiths busy since 1911".

Good call. A lot of folks really seem to like those. Including a few friends of mine that know my tastes. One of these days I'll get around to test driving one.

 

Now the 67 Goat I can vouch for. Had one about twenty years ago. 389/4 banger, the only black car I ever owned. Damn, she was sweet.
