mikelets456 78 Posted September 23, 2009 I am seeing ammo again in all shapes, sizes, brands and caliber!! However, prices are still quite stiff. I was at Walley World in MD on Sunday and picked up 2-100 pack of the WWB for $21 per 100. However they had .45 ACP for $28, .40 S&W for $26, .223, .22LR, even .380 by the CASE and so much more. Also, Dick's in NJ is charging $18 for for the Wolf Steel cased junk. Ammo is out there again, but shop around for the good deals.

Even the WM in PA are a bit higher than that, and I haven't seen any .357, .380 or .45 in them for a while. I really only regularly buy 9mm, .40, .38/.357 and .22 for my own guns, but I like to keep a box or two of the other calibers around for when we're sharing guns at the range. I don't really like to glom other people's ammo when they're being nice enough to let me shoot their guns. Maybe it's starting to loosen up some. That would be a good thing. I was thinking of buying them even though I do not have a .45 ACP. Someday I will...maybe!
mikeyboyeee 66 Posted September 23, 2009 Dicks in EB has wolf steel, blazer aluminum and remington brass 9mm ALL for the same price of $14.99 price per box, which is still a bit pricey. Friend at work's son is getting me some Remington 9mm 100 packs for 9.97 at Walmart in PA. I ordered some AMerican Eagle 9mm case for 250 delivered few weeks back. Ammo is there, prices are still up. Will it ever go back down?

BTW, what do they do with those log books? I could not read what the guy wrote in there. Do they even get collected? No thanks, I'll go to PA or MD and pay cash, thank you! They write down your FID card info. Then they just keep the book around until the cops call. He had to testify once, they just enlarged the book on a projector screen. No kidding this is our s**tty states way of keeping track of ammo purchases, it's a complete joke.

mikelets456 78 Posted October 12, 2009 I met a buddy over in PA for golfing. I was running a bit early so I stopped in a Walmart....Full ammo shelves: 9MM, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .223 Value packs, etc. Stopped at another Walmart...9MM (WW), .40,.45,.223....but not as stocked as the other Walmart. These were out near King Of Prussia. 9MM now $9.47 per box of 50 or $20.97 for WW.
