Aim has new price on psl's

Recommended Posts

I spent almost $1800 dealer price on a MSAR STG-E4 a month ago. Now I can get them for several hundred less and am selling them for $1460 at a profit. :o At least until supplies run out. ;)

Am I mad. At first yes, but now no. Who am I going to be mad at, myself? That's the way things work. S*@t Happens.

Ok fine, but the point is, you WERE mad. Im in the "WERE" stage right now, I just found out last night, Im gonna be pissed for a little bit, at least until I call them

why is it best that I dont know you? are you going to blow up my house or something? I would gladly meet you somewhere to sit down and have a meal (I dont drink or else it would be beers) and discuss this with you. I am all for arguing my point excessively until I see your side of the argument or you see mine, or we agree not to see the other side of things

All I said was I have a right to bitch, and I didnt appreciate being called a whiner which is why I said GFY.

Yes. Pre-compliance price.

(NICS, Tax and your choice of brake not included)

Nice to see a thread gone bad settled civilly.

Which brings out a point. Has a thread ever been locked on NJGF?

I just hit this thread and it was almost locked. But as stated seems to be settled . Anymore name calling and the thread will be deleted.

Tiny, just call and ask. AIM does have a good rep and is not out to screw you, you just missed the sale.

Reading their FFL requirements it almost sounds like only dealers can place the order.

How did you who have ordered one handle the transaction.

from their FAQ section

What is a "Dealer Transfer"?

A Dealer Transfer takes place when a 01 Federally Licensed Firearms dealer transfers a firearm to a Non-FFL Holder or consumer. If you are a consumer desiring to purchase a firearm from AIM, Inc., you must first locate a dealer in your area, who is willing to order/transfer the firearm to you.

Not True. It is easier if the dealer will just order it from you. But they will sell to an individual (with FFL transfer), just like any other online gun shop.

I ordered a Vz 24 Mauser from them the last time they had it, and a lady called me to say that my order was towards the end of their stock and when they opened up the crates on the bottom of the pile, it turned out those rifles were in piss poor condition. So they had to cancel. I told her that I didn't need the ammo I ordered then. So she walked into the wear house and pulled the box off of the pallet. At least they seem to stand behind their products.

I purchased the firearm from aim and they shipped it to my ffl where i paid the transfer fee and nics. no tax as the gun was sold to me out of state.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
