I'm fuzzy over the details, but within Denver city limits, its legal to possess. A person can only have so much, and cannot have the intent on distributing. 4/20 every year, all the potheads would meet at one of the parks and smoke up (Boulder would be a haze too if I recall correctly), and no one really ever cared.

ugh, while I am for the decriminalization of drugs in this nation, but I have to say I am not to thrilled about this. Only because all the slacker stoners that within one month of moving to Breckenridge walk around all pompous saying that they are "locals" and that us "tourists" (whom have lived in Colorado for years) have no right to be in their town.

 

I am glad that the towns in Colorado are starting to stand up and say "we don't want our tax payer dollars wasted enforcing this crap" though.
