hi guys new here, just got my permit and i will probabley be purchasing within the next 2 weeks. im in bloomfield nj very close to bullet hole in bellville, what other ranges that are close by that will let me try out a couple of guns before i purchase? i hear good things about sureshot but thats a bit of a drive for me, something closer would be cool. by the way im very interested in trying the glock 21 45cal, glock 22 40cal and will be willing to try anything with those calibers...

It's not closer, but the Sunset Hill Range in Pennsylvania will let you rent/pay by the shot a large variety of handguns and long guns:

It's a bit of a ride but shore shot in Lakewood has a real good selection of stuff to shoot.

Or show up for our weekly shoot at BA and ask if we can bring a gun you would like to try.

If you want to come down for our weekly shoot, I am sure someone has something you are interested in.

 

Also, look at the marketplace forum for stuff for sale, I am sure the seller would have little issues to let you shoot it before you buy it.
